Lidia’s Annual Tomato Dinner
Tomatoes are reaching their summery peak right now and we couldn’t be happier! We love ripe, juicy tomatoes in all their various shapes, sizes and colors but we quickly breeze past the grocery store hothouse toms this time of year and bee-line for the heirlooms. We just can’t resist those crazy colors and deep flavors.
Needless to say, Lidia’s annual heirloom tomato dinner is one of our favorite events of the year. On Tuesday, August 4th, executive chef Dan Swinney, chef de cuisine Cody Hogan, sous chef Jesus de la Torre and pastry chef Danica Pollard will be serving up five, beautiful courses of locally grown heirloom tomatoes with optional wine pairings. Oh yeah.
