Historic Kansas City Club Prohibition Party
Celebrate Historic Kansas City‘s “I’m a Preservationist” 2016 honorees beginning at 7 p.m. at The Brass on Baltimore. Dress in your ’20s best and swing to the music of Molly Hammer and Victor & Penny and Their Loose Change Orchestra while you enjoy an open bar, light snacks and gambling. Nell Hill’s Holiday Open House
Head to Briarcliff Village Friday for all the holiday inspiration you need for your home. Nell Hill’s will be transformed into a winter wonderland with lavish displays and ideas for the holiday season. The open house will begin at 9 a.m. Friday and will continue through Saturday. Screenland at the Symphony: Raiders of the Lost Ark
The Kansas City Symphony brings John Williams’ epic Indiana Jones score live to the Kauffman Center for the Performing Arts at 7 p.m. Relive your favorite moments from Raiders of the Lost Ark through its soundtrack. Tickets are $40 for adults and $25 for children and can be reserved here.
Food Truck Brunch
Magnolias On The Move, Cheesy Street and KC Pinoy will be on hand Sunday Under the Plane at The Roasterie’s weekly food truck brunch. Feast on Magnolia’s Southern cuisine, Cheesy Street’s sandwiches and KC Pinoy’s Filipino treats while you browse products from local makers. Brunch is available from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
FreshMade Fair at Powell Gardens
From textiles to teas and handcrafted jewelry, shop for everyone on your list this season at the FreshMade Fair at Powell Gardens.
