“Timeless” and “collected” are the two guiding concepts for the library. Suitably, the library is an intimate space, a private escape from the adjoining public rooms. In soothing neutrals punctuated by warm coral tones, the room exudes a cozy, curated feel through the use of traditional casegoods, transitional upholstery and eclectic accessories.

The challenge was to transform a small, narrow room into something functional and visually interesting. By using over-scale pieces with strategic color blocking, the designers made a quiet room freshly traditional. Stylish Hunter Douglas “Provenance” woven wood shades help moderate light for reading and study.
