The Sleeping Beauty
The Kansas City Ballet tells the story of Princess Aurora and the evil Carabosse starting Friday at Kauffman Center for the Performing Arts. The show, which starts at 7:30 p.m., is choreographed by Artistic Director Devon Carney with music by Peter I. Tchaikovsky. Tickets are available online here.

Join KC Pet Project at Boulevard Brewing Company’s Beer Hall for an afternoon of beer and food. Proceeds from sales of Boulevard’s Bully! Porter will benefit the local animal shelter, which has created an initiative in the local April 4 election to build a new facility.
