Shooting victim found in vehicle in KCK has died; suspect in custody, police say
A suspect is in police custody in the investigation of a homicide at First Street and Richmond Avenue in Kansas City, Kan.
Officers responded around 8:30 p.m. Tuesday to a reported shooting. They found a man who had been shot twice inside a car, said Jonathon Westbrook, a Kansas City, Kan., police officer.
The victim was transported to a hospital, where he died from his injuries.
Westbrook confirmed the man was shot inside a vehicle.
The victim was likely in his 20s.
