Watch: House fully engulfed in flames destroyed
The Johnson County, Mo., Fire Protection District released a video on Facebook showing a home fully engulfed in flames near Leeton Monday night.
The fire was reported by a passerby and the owner of the residence was not home at the time.
In a statement on Facebook, the department said crews battled strong winds, which caught a nearby outbuilding on fire.
The home is a total loss. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
