Fairy Princess visits KC kids this weekend. Also: ‘Jurassic World’ and Tuba Christmas

The Kansas City Museum’s new Betty Milbank Waldrop Salon will be the venue for the Fairy Princess’ annual visit this weekend.

Children can visit the Fairy Princess 3-7 p.m. Dec. 8-9, 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Dec. 10 and noon-4 p.m. Dec. 11. Reservations and tickets ($10) are available at kansascitymuseum.org.

The holiday tradition dates to 1935 at the downtown Kline’s Department Store. It has taken place at the museum since 1987.
