Walktober is here in Kansas City. Lasting through the first four Sundays in October, take a walk on four free trails in the area during the month.

The temperatures are ideal, and the colors of the trees create the perfect scenery for taking a stroll through nature. If you’re looking for something other than football to do on a Sunday, or if you want to get outside on days when the Chiefs play at night or on a weekday, you can sign up for one of these walks.

All walks are scheduled to start at noon and end at 2 p.m. Each walk has two guided tours, one starting at noon and the other starting at 12:30 p.m., with each tour lasting around 90 minutes.

Commemorative buttons, designed by local artist Liz Vargas are available for the first 200 participants at each location. Dogs on leashes are also welcome, so bring your furry friend with you on the adventure.
