Persimmon Pointe nearing final push to completion

Quick access to shopping, dining, and entertainment, close proximity to highways Kansas 7 and 10, Interstate 35 and Interstate 435, and a wide array of new, high quality single-family homes priced in the upper $200,000s and mid 300,000s, are among the biggest draws to the community of Persimmon Pointe.

Located on an unspoiled corner of northwest Olathe at 127th and Hedge Lane, sales at Persimmon Pointe have been at a very brisk pace since spring. Following the Spring Parade of Homes, all of Persimmon Pointe’s readily available inventory was quickly under contract.

“We have had lots of buyers who would like to have a very nice home in Olathe, but they don’t want to pay upwards of $400,000 for new construction,” said community sales manager Crosby deMenocal, who markets the property with Nicole Sinclair. “There are not that many places left in Johnson County, especially as Olathe continues to grow, where they can still find such high quality homes for these more moderate prices, or, get a walkout lot in the low-$50,000s.”

As Johnson County has grown over the past few decades, new home prices in Olathe have risen steadily. According to the KCRAR Market Indicators report, the YTD average price of a new home in the city has climbed to over $368,000.

Another major draw is that some of the most well-known and respected homebuilders in the Kansas City Metropolitan Area have chosen to offer a combination of beautiful two-story, reverse 1 ½-story and ranch plans here. These include Sallee Homes, Prieb Homes, Gabriel Homes, SAB Homes, Dusselier and Marks Homes (D&M Homes, Inc.), and Chris George Custom Homes.

Summit Custom Homes is also well represented here, offering three outstanding spec homes with prices starting at $275,000. All can be ready in less than 45 days to immediate. Among them are the Kenton, Northfield, and Pebblebrook II plan. The Pebblebrook II and Northfield are built with the upgraded Signature series features.

As the community is in the final push to completion, limited opportunities to build remain. There are only two walkout lots, priced at $53,950, left for custom build jobs.

In addition to current inventory, Persimmon Pointe is proud to announce, and welcome, Gabriel Homes to the community. Gabriel Homes is slated to begin construction on two Richmond reverse, 1½-story, three-car garage plans, and one MaKenna two-story, three-car garage plan. Final plan pricings are expected within the upcoming months.
