The Golay family is building with Gabriel Homes in Stonebridge Park at 165th and Black Bob Road. “We chose to build in Stonebridge Park because we love living in this area,” Louisa says.

The Murphy family and the Golay family have much in common: Both adored living in a Rodrock community – with all the amenities and thoughtful extras they entail – but wanted to find the perfect lot and personalize a floor plan to meet their distinctive needs. Each found this ideal opportunity in Stonebridge Park, located at 165th and Black Bob Road.

“We chose to build in the highly respected Rodrock community of Stonebridge Park for many reasons,” says Lexie Murphy. “With all of the amenities, including the pools, trails, playgrounds, clubhouse, social events, and the overall community ‘family’ feel, the neighborhood gives us exactly what we want for our children to grow up a part of. We’ve also heard wonderful things about the schools!”

When they first moved back to Kansas City from Denver, the Murphy family settled in a Gabriel Homes’ spec in Stonebridge Trails. Now, they’re again building with Gabriel but in Stonebridge Park – and this time at the end of a great cul-de-sac, on a treed lot, and with a larger design and the opportunity to select every detail!

“We had such a pleasant experience working with Gabriel before, there was no doubt who we wanted to build our new home,” Lexie says. “He’s trustworthy, dependable, and his team produces quality work. And Julie Parman made the (usually stressful) building process so easy and even helped us meet a few of our future neighbors! This neighborhood feels like one big family. We can’t wait to move in when our home finishes!”

Meanwhile, the Golay family is also in the midst of building with Gabriel Homes.

“We chose to build in Stonebridge Park because we love living in this area,” Louisa says. “We moved to Stonebridge Meadows as newlyweds in 2009 and knew we wanted to raise our kids here. The neighborhood is very family oriented, and we’ve made lifelong friendships with our neighbors! Being in the Spring Hill school district added to the appeal, as well. We ended up picking Stonebridge Park because of the lot selection; we wanted to build on a cul-de-sac with a house that faces north/south.”

Louisa reports that the building experience has been exciting. “We’ve really enjoyed working with Julie and Ed, as well as Darin from Gabriel Homes. Everyone has been extremely helpful and easy to work with. The open communication has made the building process less stressful!”

And while Julie Parman, one of Stonebridge Park’s community managers, admits there’s ample choice in terms of gorgeous lots, there’s also something to offer for those who want something more move-in ready.

“We have the 1.5-story Newmark home (Scottsdale Expanded) on a great lot backing to trees and a two-story Middleton IV former model for sale by Hilmann Home Building,” she says.

But that’s only the beginning for buyers with their hearts set on a two-story stunner: Also available is the always-striking Sequoia by KC Builders & Design and a fabulous Chateau Home by Fountain City Homes – on a treed lot, no less. Finishing up this impressive list is the fan-favorite Aspen by James Engle Custom Homes, on a cul-de-sac lot.

Also available are a number of reverse 1.5-story homes, including the Bristol by KC Builders that backs to trees. “In addition, we have their popular Chalet XP reverse 1.5 story,” Julie adds. “Also, KC Building Co. is offering the Caldera Reverse on a great lot, and we have two popular Marietta IIIs by D&M Homes available soon. And I can’t forget the award-winning ranch-style Tuscan plan by First Choice Homes. We have a lot to offer to all types of buyers!”
