Staley Hills offers new model row, variety of available homes
A new model row in Staley Hills made its debut this summer and, according to community manager Sara Stucker, it’s bringing homebuyers and Realtors to the community in droves.
“We currently have five professionally furnished and decorated models open to tour,” Stucker said. “The unique floor plans and variety of finishes give buyers an opportunity to see the latest in new-home design all in one place. The ability to tour this many completed homes in one community has made it a very busy summer in Staley Hills.”
Model homes include two different two-story plans by Robertson Construction, a two-story by Aspen Homes, a reverse 11/2-story by Sallee Homes and a reverse 11/2-story by New Mark Homes.
Additional models by Olympus Custom Homes, Freeman Custom Homes and McFarland Custom Builders are under construction and are expected to be complete by early fall.
The seven-member builder team represents some of the Northland’s most exceptional builders, but Staley Hills’ popularity also can be attributed to the extensive amenity package, award-winning school district and proximity to the metro’s most popular destinations and business districts.
Community amenities include two sparkling lakes, walking trails, a community swimming pool and ample amounts of green space and natural areas. Membership to nearby Staley Farms recreation center and golf course is also available.
Located at Shoal Creek Parkway just east of North Woodland in Kansas City, North, Staley Hills is a short distance to shopping, dining and entertainment meccas Zona Rosa and Briarcliff Village.
Perhaps the biggest draw for buyers is the North Kansas City School District. Staley Hills borders Staley High School to the west and Bell Prairie Elementary is less than a mile down Shoal Creek Parkway. The community is also served by New Mark Middle School.
A hot resale market and continuing low interest rates make this an excellent time to buy new.
“It’s common for buyers to walk in the door and request something move-in-ready,” Stucker said. “For those who have sold their existing home and need to move in the next 30 days, we have a number of completed speculative homes. For those with a little more time, they can choose a home currently under construction and have the option to pick out their paint colors, light fixtures and other finishes.”
Staley Hills’ ongoing popularity prompted developer Hunt Midwest Residential to move forward on building the next phase.
“We’re in the process of finalizing the design of the sixth phase and construction should be well underway in the next 30 days,” said Jenni Mann, marketing manager at Hunt Midwest Residential. “This phase will include 61 home sites, eight of which will back to trees. Those interested in this phase should contact the community managers to get more information.”
Staley Hills is a 138-acre master-planned community that will include 363 homes once complete. Homes in Staley Hills start in the upper $200,000s and are open from 1 to 6 p.m. Tuesday, 12 to 6 p.m. Wednesday through Sunday and by appointment Monday.
