Kansas City new home builder Summit Custom Homes continues to celebrate its month-long Junerosity campaign by pledging donations to non-profit organizations on behalf of visitors to model homes in their Summit Exclusive Communities.

All month long, Summit will make a $25 donation for every party who visits a participating Summit Exclusive Community and tours a model home. For every home sold in one of the Summit Exclusive Communities in June, Summit will donate $250 to the homebuyer’s selected organization. In either case, visitors select to whom the donation will be made from a list of six local and national charities.

Junerosity, first debuted by Summit in June of 2015, is 30 days of giving and community family fun aimed at raising funds to support six non-profit organizations.

For this year’s Junerosity campaign, Summit will support organizations that are making a remarkable difference in communities throughout Kansas City and the United States: Drumm Farm Center for Children, Harvesters Community Food Network, Hope Haven of Cass County, The Boys and Girls Club of Greater Kansas City, Lee’s Summit Educational Foundation and St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.

As part of Junerosity, Summit will host a variety of family-friendly community events all month long featuring games, contests, and hands-on activities for kids. A full list of events and activities for the entire month can be found on Summit’s website.

On Saturday, June 25, radio DJs from Mix 93.3 will join Summit for a live broadcast from the Mill Creek community in Lee’s Summit. Kona Ice will be on site giving out free treats, and a variety of kids activities will be open, including a bounce house and lawn games.

Drawings will be held in each community for a variety of great prizes, including Kansas City Royals and Chiefs tickets and passes to family destinations like Worlds of Fun, Schlitterbahn and the Kansas City Zoo.

Seven Summit Exclusive Communities located throughout the southeastern KC metro area will participate in Junerosity, showcasing a variety of Summit’s award-winning floor plans and community amenities.

Two brand new models from the Lifestyle Collection will be open to tour at Eagle Glen, Summit’s newest community in Raymore. The ranch-style Carbondale model showcases a finished lower level and has four bedrooms, two baths and a three-car garage. The two-story Palmer model next door has four bedrooms, 2.5 bathrooms and a three-car garage as well.

Just north of Eagle Glen, the Highpoint at Creekmoor community in Raymore will showcase a model of the popular Sterling plan from Summit’s Signature Collection. The two-story Sterling has four bedrooms, 3.5 bathrooms and a three-car garage.

In Lee’s Summit, three neighborhoods within the master-planned Stoney Creek community will have models open for Junerosity tours. The low-maintenance Villas of Parkwood neighborhood has models of the ranch-style Palermo and Catania plans, both showcasing finished lower levels.

Parkwood at Stoney Creek is currently featuring a model of the popular Preston Ridge IV floor plan. The Manor at Stoney Creek, located off County Line Road on the southern edge of Stoney Creek, will have a model of the Estes Park plan from the Lifestyle Collection.

Visitors will also be able to see the newest phase of Stoney Creek, currently under construction next to the Parkwood community. Several new homes are already under construction as well and expected to be move-in ready by the fall.

The Reserve at Stoney Creek offers a premium selection of hard-to-find treed lots available now for build job contracts. Through the end of Junerosity on June 30, Summit is offering 5 percent off the lot cost for buyers who sign a contract to build a new home in the Reserve.

Also in Lee’s Summit, a model of the Cambridge II floor plan located in the Mill Creek at Summit Mill community will participate in the Junerosity tour. The two-story Cambridge II model has five bedrooms, five bathrooms and features a finished lower level with wet bar and a built-in wine storage center.

In Blue Springs, Summit’s Chapman Farms community will have a model of the two-story Bristol Ridge II plan from the Signature Collection, featuring five bedrooms, four bathrooms and a three-car garage. The lakeside Chapman Farm community is home to the Lakeside, Shores and Greenbriar neighborhoods, now offering a wide selection of floorplans from Summit’s Signature Collection.

Participating model homes are open Thursday through Saturday and Mondays from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sundays 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. or by appointment on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
