Summit Custom Homes’ Lifestyle Series homes a big hit with buyers
Homebuyers are buzzing about Summit Custom Homes’ new Lifestyle Series floor plans. The homes, which include two-story, ranch and 11/2-story plans, range in size from 1,430 square feet to 2,286 square feet and are priced from the $230,000s to the $280,000s.
“What’s so exciting about these homes is that we’ve focused on delivering the features most important to homebuyers at an unbelievable value; and at the same time we streamlined the design selection process to take the hassle out of home building with nine pre-selected interior and exterior finish packages specifically selected by award-winning interior designer, Darrell Naeger, exclusively for Summit buyers,” said Kevin Stucker, vice president of sales and marketing for Summit Custom Homes. “Where else in the metro area can you buy a brand new, energy-efficient, four-bedroom, two-story home with a three-car garage for under $250,000 that features an interior design pallet this progressive?”
Summit Custom Homes first unveiled the Lifestyle Series plans in a new furnished model home row in Timber Trails, a master-planned community by developer Hunt Midwest Residential, this spring. The model row shows off the stunning 2,025-square foot, two-story, four-bedroom, Woodbury plan priced in the $250,000s; the spacious and contemporary 2,286-square-foot, two-story, four-bedroom, Pebblebrook plan decorated in cool hues of gray, blue and white; and the very popular 1,872-square-foot Bridgewater plan, a 11/2-story home with a main-floor owner’s suite priced in the $250,000s. The Bridgewater is also available in a four-bedroom version.
Timber Trails is in the booming suburb of Raymore, just south of Missouri 58 highway off of Dean. The community features a pool with cabana house, children’s playground and an extensive system of wooded walking trails and natural areas. It is conveniently located just minutes from Interstate 49/U.S. 71 highway allowing easy access to Overland Park, the Country Club Plaza and downtown Kansas City, all within a 20-minute drive. An enticing selection of shopping, dining, entertainment and health care options are all within minutes. Students attend the award-winning Raymore-Peculiar School District.
Whether in the market for a home or not, Summit Custom Homes invites anyone interested to come tour the model homes and see what’s new in plan design and interior decorating. The model information center is located at 502 Meadowlark Drive, Raymore, and is open daily from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. except Sundays when it opens at noon.
Most recently, Summit introduced the Lifestyle Series of home plans to the Brooks Farm community conveniently located directly off of Missouri 150 in south Lee’s Summit, just east of Ward Road. Brooks Farm is the only community in Lee’s Summit to feature Summit Custom Homes’ Lifestyle Series. Buyers who build their home in Brooks Farm can select from nine unique interior and exterior finish packages, just as they can in the Raymore community of Timber Trails. Homes are priced from the $230,000s to the $290,000s.
Brooks Farm community manager Trey Nation said, “I’m seeing a lot of traffic and increased sales, and I’m just hearing a ton of positive feedback about the homes and overall community. Lots in Brooks Farm are incredibly affordable and HOA dues are a low $65 a year. Now is absolutely the time to buy. I wouldn’t want anyone to miss out on their dream home just because they waited too long.”
Brooks Farm offers one completed, move-in ready home for sale and six homes at various stages of the building process, anywhere from two to five months away from completion. So, whether you want to move in quickly or have the option to put a bit more of your own personal touch on the home, there is something for every buyer. Plans here include several two-story homes, a ranch, a 11/2-story, and a reverse 11/2-story home.
“Summit is offering a variety of different homes at Brooks Farm, which is attracting many different types of buyers, each at a different stage in their lives,” said Megan Fratzke, marketing manager for Summit Custom Homes. “This area has a lot of life, great neighbors and simply is in an excellent location.”
Children living in Brooks Farm will attend schools in the award-winning Lee’s Summit School District.
“We’re also excited to be opening a new playground this month for families to enjoy within the community,” Fratzke said.
The model information center in Brooks Farm is open 12 to 6 p.m. Sunday and 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Wednesday through Saturday.
As with every Summit home, buyers can count on the consistent quality and appeal only a builder that’s built nearly 1,000 homes can deliver. Some standards Summit homeowners enjoy are an industry leading 10-year transferable structural warranty; energy-efficient features such as low-e windows, a moisture-resistant weather barrier, and a set-back thermostat; a personalized customer care process that helps guide the homebuyer through the building process from start to finish with as little anxiety as possible; and more.
Many homes include stucco or real lap siding with stone veneer elevations and a three-car garage; and all Lifestyle Series homes include wide-plank wood flooring in traffic areas, premium Delta plumbing fixtures, custom-built designer cabinetry, rubbed-copper wrought-iron stair spindles, a spa master bathroom with his-and-her vanity sinks, GE stainless steel appliances and a walk-in pantry, to name a few.
