Construction is booming in Benson Place and now a wide variety of move-in ready new homes are available to tour during the Spring Parade of Homes.
“Benson Place builders have made it easy for those shopping for a new home,” said Aimee Miller, ReeceNichols agent and Benson Place Fieldstone co-community manager with Heather Duty. “Not only are there sixteen completed homes to tour, each have distinctive features and finishes that truly leave an impression. It’s no wonder homes sell quickly in this neighborhood.”
Builders have four entries in the Parade of Homes including Aspen Homes (No. 3) at 7921 NE 100th St.; McFarland Custom Builders (No. 4 and 5) at 8067 NE 100th Terr. And 8307 NE 103rd Terr. and Summit Custom Homes (No. 7) at 8009 NE 100th St. Twelve additional completed homes will also be available for guests to tour.
To add to the fun, visitors are encouraged to participate in a Spring Scavenger Hunt hosted by Hunt Midwest, the community developer, for a chance to win prizes including Chiefs suite tickets, Royals tickets and a Visa gift card. Kansas City themed items representing local sports teams, landmarks and businesses are hidden throughout each of the Parade homes. Once the item is spotted, visitors take a photo and post to social media using a designated hashtag and winners will be randomly chosen from the entries.
“The contest is simple and has been enjoyable for our guests, especially the kids,” explains Miller.
Many attributes have led to the Benson Place’s popularity including rolling hills, abundant parkland, and close proximity to the Shoal Creek Golf Course and Hodge Park. Benson Place is within the boundaries of the highly rated Liberty school district and just minutes from excellent shopping, downtown Kansas City and Kansas City International Airport.
Community amenities include two swimming pools with cabanas, a children's spray ground, playground, five acre lake, picnic area, walking trails and more than 40 acres of parkland and natural areas. Residents also enjoy the convenience of a day care center and Benton House of Shoal Creek, a senior living community, located at the neighborhood’s west entrance.
“Benson Place offers amenities that all homeowners are looking for, especially families with children,” said Miller. “It’s where people want to live and residents encourage their friends and family to live here, too. There truly isn’t another neighborhood like this in the Northland.”
An esteemed team of builders comprised of Aspen Homes, McFarland Custom Builders, Robertson Construction, SAB Homes and Summit Custom Homes continue to impress homebuyers with their innovative floor plans, fresh color palettes and finishes and unmatched customer service. Available floor plans provide options for those in every stage of life, from ranch plans offering one-level living to 2-story homes with space for growing families. Additionally, Riead Home Construction is debuting a stunning 2-story home in Benson Place Woodchase with custom woodwork throughout.
The Spring Parade of Homes, presented by the Home Builders Association of Greater Kansas City, offers free admission to tour over 300 homes throughout the Kansas City area, each open 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily April 23 through May 3. Parade guides may be picked up at any home on the Parade or at the HBA office at 600 E. 103rd St., Kansas City, near Interstate 435 and Holmes Road.
