Kansas City’s leading new home builder, Summit Custom Homes, is celebrating the grand opening of Eagle Glen, the company’s third Summit Exclusive Community to open in Raymore. Summit will mark the opening with a public Grand Opening Celebration today from 2 to 4 p.m. at the Eagle Glen Community Information center at 208 N. Westglen Drive.

Two brand new furnished model homes will be open for tours, showcasing the latest in modern and stylish home design. Visitors can enter to win a $200 gift card for Southwest Airlines, valid towards the purchase of airfare to anywhere Southwest flies. There will be a bounce house and games for kids as well as cotton candy and other treats.

The new ranch-style Carbondale model includes a finished lower level and offers four bedrooms, two baths and a three-car garage. Large windows allow lots of bright natural light into the open main level living space, which features an elegant corner fireplace and a large kitchen island. The owner’s entry includes convenient built-in storage and the generously-sized laundry has a built-in folding table and direct access to the oversized master closet. Two additional bedrooms near the front of the house feature walk-in closets.

The two-story Palmer model features an open main level living space with large windows overlooking the back patio and a fireplace. A storage bench and powder room are conveniently located at the garage entry near the kitchen, which features an island. The master suite features a large storage closet while the laundry room is located conveniently near the bedrooms. The fourth bedroom can be replaced by an optional loft space.

Five additional homes under construction in Eagle Glen are nearing completion, and several premium lots are still available as well.

Eagle Glen residents enjoy a host of popular amenities including a community pool with cabana house, walking trails, and acres of common areas. Eagle Glen Intermediate School, hosting children attending fourth through sixth grades, is located within the community as well.

Dozens of dining and shopping options are located just a mile or two away from both communities along Missouri 58 Highway, as well as daily services like banks, pharmacies, salons, auto service establishments and large retailers including Walmart and Lowe’s Home Improvement. A major shopping district is located less than 5 miles west and has a Target, Home Depot and Kohl’s as well as a movie theater, Starbucks, Price Chopper and more than two dozen additional restaurants.

Eagle Glen is located within the Raymore-Peculiar School District, which offers students an outstanding educational experience with a rigorous academic curriculum, small class sizes, engaged instructors and many extracurricular activities and student support services.

Eagle Glen offers new homes from Summit’s popular Lifestyle Collection with prices starting in the $230s. With the Lifestyle Collection, Summit has drawn on years of homebuilding experience to create homes that combine efficient floor plan design with preselected design packages to bring beautiful, functional homes to families at an exceptional value.

Summit Custom Homes will also showcase a wide array of furnished models from both Signature and Villa Collections during the Spring Parade of Homes. The company’s entries are spread throughout the metro on both sides of the state line as well as the Northland.
