What began in 1989 with an environmental vision has grown into “Winterset,” a national award-winning Master Planned community with nature and family at the forefront.

“Our builders build metro-wide and are very customer-responsive … that’s critically important to the quality of our community,” Gale said. Or you can bring in your own builder, but the builder has to be approved by Gale Communities. “At this price range,” Gale said, “it is very important to have that flexibility with high standards.”

The Destination, a reverse 1 ½ story, executive home built by Pfeifer Homes is located in a prime spot on the “100-Acre Woods.” There are very few homes available in this scenic area, a stone-throw away from beautiful, peaceful walking trails. “Those lots are few and far between right now so to be able to find a home on that green space is considered a premium,” Zammar-Gale said. “It is a beautiful lot.”
