Award-winning builder has new offerings for new year
For 28 years Jeff Robinson and his professional team has been building award-winning homes in the Kansas City metropolitan area with one goal in mind: to provide the finest, a goal that is reflected in the homes they build and the communities where they build.
The team’s commitment also is reflected in the name of Robinson’s company, J.S. Robinson Fine Homes. And because of their commitment to providing the best possible homes, J.S. Robinson was one of the select few builders chosen to craft a home for the Home Builders Association of Greater Kansas City’s Artisan Homes Tour inaugural event last September.
The Artisan Homes Tour, which raised funds for Ronald McDonald House, featured Robinson’s home in Summerwood Estates in south Overland Park. The reverse 1 1/2-story Quintessa plan at 16101 Century, is available and priced at $1.225 million.
This is just one of numerous honors that J.S. Robinson Fine Homes has received. The builder is a perennial winner for top awards from the HBA during the Spring and Fall Parades of Homes each year.
Robinson credits his company’s success to its commitment to its founding principles.
“This company was founded on the desire to take amazing care of people, our clients as well as our employees, trade partners and vendors, while also providing amazing homes for families,” he said. “We all work together to ensure the best possible homes for our clients and we pride ourselves on keeping our word to our clients.”
The majority of the J.S. Robinson Fine Homes’ team and trade partners have been with the company for many years, some for 20 years, through all of the economic variables of the housing industry.
These craftsmen are committed to providing quality homes and attention to detail, whether the home is priced at $450,000 or more than $2 million. Robinson also continually updates the company’s portfolio of plans and design trends so that homebuyers are confident that they are able choose from the most current styles that will maintain their value.
J.S. Robinson’s commitment to excellence extends to the communities where it builds. The J.S. Robinson team carefully chooses each to ensure that it offers the best possible amenities, a convenient location and excellent schools. The team builds throughout the Kansas City area, including several new-home communities in Overland Park, Olathe, Lenexa and Shawnee, as well as on acreage and sites owned by its clients. The company builds its own plans and the clients’ custom plans.
J.S. Robinson will be building new model homes and inventory homes in several communities in 2016. Among them is the new and final phase in Brighton’s Landing, just east of Lone Elm Road on 114th Terrace in Olathe. This phase offers large wooded lots, many of which will allow for a four-car garage.
Robinson plans to offer his 1 1/2-story Regency II plan in both Brighton’s Landing and another Olathe community, the Estates of Forest View at 127th and Clare Road. This plan features four bedrooms, 4 1/2 bathrooms and a cook’s back kitchen.
J.S. Robinson also will be building a new three-bedroom ranch plan with a finished lower level on one of the large, walkout lots in The Estates of Forest View.
The company is building three homes in Melrose Reserve, a luxury villa community on 133rd Street near Switzer in Overland Park. The reverse 1 1/2-story homes include the Catalina II, the Carmel and the Newport, all with four bedrooms and three bathrooms.
J.S. Robinson plans to build model homes in two new Matt Adams communities in Overland Park: Mills Crossing, 159th and Switzer, and Arbor View on 179th Street west of U.S. 69 across from the Overland Park Arboretum.
New home sites just became available in Bristol Ridge in Lenexa on 87th Street west of Interstate 435, where the company will be building a model and inventory homes on the large, treed walkout lots. New homes are also going up in Bristol Valley, just up the street.
In the Enclave at Woodland Lake in Lenexa, just north of 95th Street and east of Woodland Road, buyers will discover a Rosemount II reverse 1 1/2-story plan under construction as well as a nearly completed reverse 1 1/2-story Catalina II.
Another Catalina II A is available in Ridgestone Meadows in Shawnee, just south of Shawnee Mission Parkway and west of Interstate 435 on 68th Terrace. Robinson will soon begin construction of more inventory homes in Ridgestone Meadows.
Whether buyers want to chose one of the completed homes or to have J.S. Robinson build a new one in any of these communities, now is a good time to do so, while interest rates are still low and before construction costs go up in the spring.
