Special giving back sales event
Indeed, it is the season of giving. And now through the end of the year Bickimer Homes, one of the oldest family-owned and operated home-building companies in the Kansas City metro area, is offering buyers up to $10,000 off on a basement finish on select homes.
The homes are located in four beautiful upscale Johnson County communities, each offering a picturesque setting and a relaxed “away-from-it-all” ambiance with proximity to shopping, dining, entertainment, sporting venues and other lifestyle amenities.
In Wilshire by the Lake, at 159th and King Street in Overland Park, Bickimer Homes is offering The Madison 2.5. This two-story, four-bedroom, 4 1/2-bathroom, 3,150-square-foot-home, priced at $500,000, features open main-floor living with a giant mudroom, expansive pantry, a multiuse command center and a large, convenient second-floor laundry room.
Bickimer’s popular 1 1/2-story Augusta plan in Polo Fields, an Overland Park community at 164th and Quivira, has four bedrooms and 4 1/2 bathrooms with a bonus main-floor study. The plan features a beautiful stone and stucco exterior, a dramatic two-story great room and a large granite island in the kitchen. This home sits in a cul-de-sac and is perfect for family gatherings and entertaining. Bickimer Homes is also offering this plan in the Overland Park community of Stonegate Reserve, off of 163rd Street and Switzer.
Prospective buyers desiring a five-bedroom, four-bathroom two-story home will find that the popular Rainier II plan fits the bill. Located in The Estates of Greenview Ridge in Shawnee just off Kansas 7 and 47th Street, this 2,890-square-foot home priced at $420,000 offers a spacious open floor plan with a huge pantry and large granite island with loads of counter and cabinet space in the kitchen, as well as a second-floor laundry room with extra access to the master bathroom.
“We are so excited to be able to offer this special $10,000 off basement finish option on these four spectacular homes,” said Brian Patenaude, director of communications for Bickimer Homes. “As the market has continued to grow, we have been fortunate to have experienced another banner year, and are thankful for our clients and homeowners who have made that happen. This is just our way of saying ‘thank you’.”
Celebrating its 34th anniversary in 2016, the company remains dedicated to building a business based on integrity, customer service and quality construction.
“Our attention to detail, service to the customer before and after the sale, and a wide variety of floor plans are hallmarks of our success,” said Tommy Bickimer, president of operations. “Because of this, we have enjoyed a solid reputation in the real estate community that has helped us earn our customer’s complete satisfaction and trust.”
Bickimer Homes is also introducing several new home plan options.
In Mills Crossing in Overland Park, a new model opening by the end of this year is The Augusta II. Awe-inspiring features in this 1 1/2-story, four-bedroom, 4 1/2-bathroom, 3,300-square-foot home include an additional bedroom/study on the first floor, a loft, a finished lower level with a bar and stone arches, and an inviting outdoor fireplace under a covered patio.
Two of their new home plans can be found at Wilshire by the Lake and are currently under construction. The Jefferson 1.5, a four-bedroom, 3 1/2-bathroom, 1 /2-story home features a wide open kitchen flowing into an oversized breakfast area and a great room with a see-through fireplace to a covered deck. The Jefferson II, a beautiful reverse 1 1/2-story with four bedrooms and 4 1/2 bathrooms features a second bedroom/study on the main floor and a laundry room conveniently located on the main floor off of the master bathroom.
“As more and more people continue to move to Johnson County due to job growth, to raise families and for quality of life, we feel that the market is going to continue to be strong,” Patenaude explained. “As such, we will continue to offer new home plans designed to fit our customer’s unique needs, desires and lifestyles.”
Bickimer Homes’ focus on giving also goes beyond offering special home prices. One of its on-going community philanthropic efforts is as a proud supporter of The Promise of Learning Foundation, which provides time, talent and financial assistance to those individuals, institutions and programs who share its belief that education offers our greatest hope and means for underprivileged youth to realize their potential.
