Show-Me Real Estate experienced phenomenal growth during 2014 and is looking forward to expanding its business even more in 2015.

“We are extremely grateful to all of our clients who placed their trust in us by listing their property with us or coming to us to help them find the perfect property to purchase,” said owner/broker Dirk Talley.

Show-Me Real Estate has agents with diverse backgrounds who are experts in all aspects of its business, including commercial real estate, residential real estate, agricultural land and hunting properties. Although each agent may have a particular field of expertise, all agents are well versed in every listing so someone always is available with the information that potential buyers are seeking.

Show-Me Real Estate, with offices in Smithville and Plattsburg, has long been known for its expertise in selling land, but it also sells residential and commercial property and that is where most of its growth came during 2014. It currently has an extensive portfolio of commercial listings that appeal to a diverse variety of potential buyers.

Those listings include a large industrial tract of approximately 198 acres on Missouri 210 highway near Missouri 291. This property includes 1.2 million square feet of underground useable dry storage space and a rock quarry. It is rare to find such a large amount of dry storage with modern facilities. Marketable soils and limestone reserves are two of the key features of the rock quarry. This property could be split if someone desired.

“The underground storage facility has great potential,” said Show-Me Real Estate agent Randy Swope. “Kansas City is the distribution point for many large companies because it is in the center of the country and this facility has great highway access.”

The limestone quarry is active and still has areas which have not yet been mined, Swope added. For information about the property, call listing agent Chris Higgins at 816-985-4953.

Another of Show-Me Real Estate’s commercial listings is for a property on North 169 Highway in Smithville. Talley, the listing agent, said, “This is a great business opportunity in a growing community just 15 minutes north of Kansas City.”

The property currently is used as a car sales lot and has high visibility on a four-lane highway. The commercial zoning allows for numerous business possibilities, as does the 7,000-square-foot building which has clear-span construction and full concrete.

For information, call Dirk Talley at 816-532-6101.

Another of Talley’s listings is an established primitive decor business, the Primitive Peddler, at 617 N. Walnut St. in Cameron, Mo. This thriving business opened in 1999 and draws customers from northwest Missouri and surrounding states.

The 5,400-square-foot building is divided into three main sections: the showroom, warehouse/storage that is also used for retail and office with restroom. The warehouse has a large overhead door for shipping and receiving.

For information, call Dirk Talley at 816-532-6101.

Swope has listed a commercial property at 502 Main St. in Edgerton, Mo., that currently houses an automotive service business. The property has two buildings, one of which is a 50-foot by 80-foot building with three bay doors. Two of the doors are 12-foot by 12-foot and the other is 12-foot by 16-foot. The other building is a 20-foot by 50-foot with an attached 20-foot by 24-foot office and a 12-foot by 18-foot bay door.

For information on this building, call Randy Swope at 816-550-7879.
