Another popular floor plan is The Franklin, a true ranch-style home with three bedrooms, two bathrooms and a three-car garage. Priced between $245,000 and $255,000 and encompassing a little over 1,700 square feet, the home is highlighted by a soaring vaulted ceiling in the living room with floor-to-ceiling windows, a huge island and pantry in the open kitchen, and a washer and dryer on the main level.

The Jameson is a reverse, 2,450-square-foot home, priced between $289,000 and $292,000. In addition to four bedrooms, three bathrooms and a three-car garage, this floor plan features hardwoods in the kitchen, a kitchen island with granite counter tops and granite throughout the home, a walk-in shower and tiled bathrooms throughout.

The Oakmont floor plan is a two-story, 2,576-square-foot home priced between $290,000 and $295,000. In addition to four bedrooms, 21/2 bathrooms and a three-car garage, this floor plan features a formal dining room, butler’s and walk-in pantries, stainless appliances, hardwoods, tile and granite throughout, and a huge walk-in shower in the master bathroom. The exterior features a stucco with stone trim front entry and a covered deck.

According to John Simone, sales associate with Reece & Nichols Realtors, each floor plan offers a lot of home for the money.

“One of the biggest things that Owens Built Properties is known for is building impeccable homes with a lot of standard features that would be priced as upgrades in other similar residential communities,” Simone said. “Here, prospective buyers will find beautiful hardwoods throughout, granite counter tops in the kitchens and bathrooms, inviting fireplaces, energy-efficient stainless appliances, higher-end plumbing fixtures and raised hearth gas fireplaces, just to name a few.”

Spacious master suites with walk-in closets, double bowl vanities and jetted tubs in the master bathrooms, and exteriors with maintenance-free siding are other desirable home features.

Another unique factor, said Simone, is that “the Highlands of Northview is surrounded by $300,000-plus neighborhoods offering the same high-end features, but our homes are priced well under that price range.”

Community amenities include a pool and walking trail, plus close highway access to shopping, retail, entertainment, Kansas City International Airport, Zona Rosa and downtown.

Highlands of Northview also is near several North Kansas City elementary, middle and high schools.
