Summit Custom Homes’ Innovative Lifestyle Series Homes a big hit
Earlier this year, leading new-home builder Summit Custom Homes began offering its innovative Lifestyle Series of homes in Raymore and Lee’s Summit, offering buyers the quality craftsmanship and pleasant home-building experience for which the company is known at the most exceptional value yet.
The series has become popular with homebuyers, who are embracing the opportunity to build a brand new Summit home at a lower price.
“What is great about the Lifestyle Series is that we’ve focused in on delivering the features most important to homebuyers at the greatest value,” said Kevin Stucker, vice president of sales and marketing for Summit Custom Homes. “Where else in the metro area can you buy a brand new, energy-efficient, four-bedroom, two-story home with a three-car garage for under $250,000?”
The series includes two-story, ranch and 11/2-story plans, ranging in size from 1,774 square feet to 2,277 square feet and priced from the $210,000s to the $230,000s.
The Lifestyle Series also features a streamlined design selection process that takes the hassle out of home building. For each plan, buyers are able to choose from nine pre-selected interior and exterior finish packages specifically designed for Summit Custom Homes by award-winning interior designer Darrell Naeger.
“There is a long list of finishes that have to be selected for a new home and choosing each one individually can be an overwhelming process for some,” Naeger said. “People worry about making sure all their choices will look good together. With the Lifestyle series, I’ve put everything together so that buyers can be confident that every finish will complement the overall design when their home is complete.”
Summit Custom Homes first unveiled the Lifestyle Series of floor plans earlier this year with a new furnished model home row in Timber Trails, a master-planned community developed by Hunt Midwest Residential.
The model row shows off the stunning 2,025-square-foot, two-story, four-bedroom, Woodbury plan priced in the $210,000s; the spacious and contemporary 2,286-square-foot, two-story, four-bedroom, Pebblebrook plan decorated in cool hues of gray, blue and white; and the popular 1,872-square-foot Bridgewater plan, a 11/2-story home with a main floor owner’s suite priced in the $210,000s, as well.
Timber Trails is located in the booming suburb of Raymore, just south of Missouri 58 off of Dean. The community features a pool with cabana house, children’s playground and an extensive system of wooded walking trails and natural areas.
It is conveniently located just minutes from Interstate 49/U.S. 71, allowing easy access to Overland Park, the Country Club Plaza and downtown Kansas City, all within a 20-minute drive. A wide variety of shopping, dining, entertainment and health care options are all within minutes. Students attend the award winning Raymore-Peculiar School District.
“Homes have been selling quickly here,” said Jennifer Messner, on-site agent in the community. “There are currently six lots left in Timber Trails, though new development is on the way.”
Summit is now also offering Lifestyle Series homes in the Brooks Farm community, conveniently located directly off of Missouri 50 in south Lee’s Summit, just east of Ward Road. Buyers who build their home in Brooks Farm can select from nine unique interior and exterior finish packages, just as they can in the Raymore community of Timber Trails. Homes are priced from the $210,000s to the $230,000s. Children living in Brooks Farm attend schools in the award-winning Lee’s Summit School District.
“In Brooks Farm, there is a Pembrooke plan and also a Huntington that will be move-in ready by the end of the month, and two more, an Oakmont II and a Clayton, that will be ready before the end of the year,” said on-site community manager Trey Nation. “We have broken ground on two additional Oakmont II plans as well. So, whether you want to move in quickly or have the option to put a bit more of your own personal touch on the home, there is something for every buyer.”
As with every Summit home, buyers can count on the consistent quality and appeal only a builder that’s built nearly 1,000 homes can deliver. Some standards Summit homeowners enjoy are an industry leading 10-year transferable structural warranty and energy-efficient features such as low-E windows, a moisture resistant weather barrier and a set-back thermostat. The company also offers a personalized customer care program that helps guide homebuyers through the building process from start to finish with as little anxiety as possible.
All Lifestyle Series homes include wide-plank wood flooring in traffic areas, premium Delta plumbing fixtures, custom-built designer cabinetry, rubbed-copper wrought-iron stair spindles, a spa master bathroom with his-and-her vanity sinks, GE stainless steel appliances and a walk-in pantry. Many homes include stucco or real lap siding with stone veneer elevations and a three-car garage as well.
