Winning is a habit … or so the saying goes. And fittingly, Rodrock Development’s Stonebridge Trails hopes its award-winning Makenna, by Gabriel Homes Inc., will continue to garner accolades during this Fall’s Parade of Homes, held through Oct. 18.
The gorgeous home, at 16675 W. 165th St., won the American Dream First Place Award this past Spring, wowing judges with its outstanding home design and architecture. Not only does it offer a standout floor plan and the finest in finishes, but also all the amenities and benefits of being in a Rodrock community.
“We are thrilled that Gabriel Homes chooses Rodrock Development communities to showcase its homes,” said Brenda Sanders, president of Rodrock & Associates, Realtors. “This home is an outstanding example of home building at its finest.”
Gabriel Homes’ award-winning Makenna is a tremendously popular plan in the Stonebridge Trails community — and for good reason.
“It’s just beautifully finished,” said longtime Rodrock Development marketing agent Joan Jacquin. “This plan is really popular here at the Trails. It features four bedrooms on the upper floor with three bathrooms. All of the bedrooms are great in size and, of course, have walk-in closets. The basement is fully finished with a family room, a fifth bedroom and another bathroom. There’s also a bar and large open area perfect for entertaining. Most of our buyers call this the ‘man cave.’ ”
Meanwhile, the large kitchen has custom cabinetry and a built-in stained buffet with granite counter top. A handy mudroom with boot bench helps keep even the most active of families organized. Overall, this house boasts a fantastic informal main floor and a total of five spacious bedrooms, 4 1/2 bathrooms, and a covered porch and outdoor living area with fire pit. And as the judges on the 2015 Spring Parade of Homes wanted to make clear: This home is a true winner.
But it’s far from the only winner to be found in Stonebridge Trails. While Parade-goers are in the neighborhood, they should make their way to a number of spec homes that are primed and ready, and all competitively priced from $359,950 to $374,950.
“All of these homes have either four or five bedrooms and, of course, multiple bathrooms,” Jacquin said. “At least five of them are available for immediate occupancy. In truth, our second Stonebridge Trails plat is a mad house of activity. We have two-story homes and reverse 1 1/2-stories. These abodes are about 90 to 120 days from completion. All have four bedrooms, multiple bathrooms and finished basements on daylight home sites. And if this isn’t enough, we are getting ready for our third phase. Ideally, we hope to have home site prices in the next 30 days or so.”
Still, a broad range of floor plans by some of the area’s top builders is just the start to what makes Stonebridge Trails so special. Parade attendees need only hop on one of the paved trails that delicately lace the neighborhood, walk about and see for themselves what the community’s residents know all too well: This is truly an incredibly friendly, beautifully designed neighborhood. In fact, many of the newest residents to call Stonebridge Trails home discovered the community thanks to the experience of very happy friends and family.
And while on the expansive trail system — which offers residents an easy way to visit friends and make use of the extended neighborhood’s amenities — Parade-goers can tour Stonebridge’s impressive four pools, various playgrounds and two richly appointed clubhouses, one with a top-of-the line workout facility. In fact, Stonebridge boasts a junior Olympic-size pool and water slide; zero-entry pools and changing cabanas; pergola-covered grills; picnic areas; hard-surface sport court for basketball, tennis and volleyball; and several well-equipped children’s playgrounds.
The trails also allow many neighborhood kids to easily walk to Prairie Creek Elementary School, which won the 2013 and 2014 Governor’s Award. Rodrock has dedicated 30 acres of adjacent land for a new middle school now in the planning stages.
“The Fall Parade is an exciting time of year, we have so much to offer at Stonebridge Trails,” said Joe Stephenson, a Rodrock Development marketing agent. “It’s great getting to showcase our homes and amenities to people who might not be out viewing if it weren’t for a homes tour.”
