Lime Stone Road Townhomes are part of The National Golf Club of Kansas City, a nationally recognized community in Parkville. Its rolling terrain, breathtaking views, natural habitat, award-winning Park Hill School District and, of course, its Tom Watson Signature golf course are just a few reasons why The National stands apart from all other developments, the marketing team said.

“This is a special place to live, work and play and we are not the only ones to say that,” said Chris Powell, who markets the community for Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate Kansas City Homes. “The Limestone Road community has gathered many accolades over the years. It has been chosen Community of the Year by Kansas City Homes and Gardens, maintenance-provided award-winner during a Parade of Homes, Grand Award-winner for its landscaping presented by the Mid-America Green Industry Council and Links Magazine’s best golf community for convenience to city life. Come see for yourself what everyone else is writing about.”

Homebuyers may choose from several floor plans. Along with the numerous floor plans offered with Lime Stone Road’s traditional product, buyers can also choose from a new concept in maintenance-provided. A limited offering of eight stand-alone townhomes are available. Four of those units have been sold since it was introduced three months ago. The stand-alone townhomes have no common walls and will offer an optional three-car garage.

The current inventory offers walkout and daylight lower levels. As with the existing townhome product, the stand-alone product offers an open feeling as you enter the front door with high ceilings, large expanses of windows and efficient living spaces with the kitchen, great room and master suite on one level. They carry the standard finishes featuring custom cabinetry, granite counter tops, hardwood floors and GE appliance packages.

Just being offered are four exclusive lots with views over-looking the ninth hole of The National Golf Club of Kansas City. This limited number of lots are a two-minute walk to all the amenities offered by The National, which includes the pool complex, health club, clubhouse, tennis courts, golf practice facility and the first tee. Residents may never have to drive a car again.

But if residents have to get in their cars, it is nice to know within 20 minutes you will be arriving at the airport, downtown, Country Club Plaza, Zona Rosa or The Legends.

And less than five minutes away they can shop for all their basic necessities. Parkville Commons, a 250,000-square-foot retail center is anchored by a Price Chopper grocery store. In addition to Price Chopper they can pick up dry cleaning at Pride Cleaners, find their everyday needs at Walgreen’s and dine at Nick-n-Jake’s, Rusty Horse Tavern, Jimmy John’s, Sakae Sushi and Pizza Hut. It is also home to the metropolitan area’s most active and vibrant health and wellness center, the Platte County Community Center/YMCA.

The good news, as residents of one of The National’s maintenance-provided communities, residents have time to shop and play golf because they never have to take time out of their lives to paint their home, repair the roof, fix/clean gutters, mow, mulch, trim, fertilize or even remove snow from sidewalks and driveways.

A bonus to being part of this community is the active residents. The residents, with the help of the homeowners association, organize several parties each year. These parties, along with several resident gatherings throughout the year, keep this community in touch.

Powell said with prices starting in the low $300,000s coupled with historically low interest rates, Lime Stone Road Townhomes offers an unprecedented opportunity for those who want to experience The National’s active resort lifestyle.
