A brand new residential community is sprouting up in Lee’s Summit that offers the perfect combination for those who love the character of classic-style homes and want the surroundings of a beautiful, walkable suburban neighborhood.

Kessler Ridge at New Longview, situated on the western edge of Lee’s Summit in the historic New Longview area, is a community of 90 lots for single-family homes to be built in a variety of classic styles. It is in an award-winning school district and just minutes away from the New Longview restaurants and shops, Longview Lake and other recreational attractions. This new community is sure to become one of the area’s most sought-after neighborhoods for families.

Each home in Kessler Ridge at New Longview will be designed and constructed in the charming tradition of the existing homes in New Longview, with equal attention paid to architectural detail including Craftsman and Prairie-style homes. All will feature high-quality energy-efficient materials, such as blown-in insulation; high-efficiency furnaces; a dry-basement system; and low-E glass windows.

The pre-sale of lots and houses in Kessler Ridge at New Longview will begin Sept. 18. Each home will be built with the homebuyer’s choice of architectural style, interior layout and finishes. Homes are priced starting in the low $300,000s with plenty of daylight and walkout lots available.

“Our commitment to industry best practices and building efficiencies allows us to offer high quality homes at affordable prices and within a reasonable timeframe,” said Ernie Wassmann, CEO of Inspired Homes, which is the exclusive builder of Kessler Ridge at New Longview. “Here, homebuyers are able to build the home they deserve at a price they can afford.”

Homes are available in nine different floor plans, ranging in size from 1,600 to 3,500 square feet, each with three different architectural styles.

“Deciding on a lot and floor plan is just the beginning,” said Dan Walsh, vice president of Inspired Homes. “Our in-house designer meets with each homebuyer to choose interior paint, cabinet styles, granite, flooring and a lot of other features. We want to help each buyer make their new home truly their own.”

Kessler Ridge at New Longview is named after George Kessler, the famous landscape architect who designed R.A. Long’s iconic property that became known as “the world’s most beautiful farm.” The new community will be situated just to the north of the beautifully restored, historic Longview Mansion.
