Inspired Homes, Kansas City’s newest home builder, has opened The Reserve community for sale in Lenexa. The locally owned and operated builder has enjoyed quick success building homes of uncompromised quality at an exceptional value.

“The Kansas City market deserves the best-built homes the industry can offer at prices they can afford,” said local resident and Inspired Homes president Ernie Wassmann. “We’ve spent years accumulating best practices and efficiencies across the industry so we can offer high quality homes that Kansas City homebuyers feel are affordable.”

The Reserve in Lenexa features eight different floor plans, including two ranch floor plans. The two-story homes begin at $269,000 and 2,834 square feet and go up to 3,543 square feet for $330,000. The two ranches are 1,760 and 1,904 square feet, and are priced starting at $246,000 and $253,000, respectively.

“We did not cut corners to get to these values,” Wassmann explained. “All our homes offer energy efficiency products, including exterior walls built with 2-foot by 6-foot construction — compared with the industry standard of 2-foot by 4-foot — foam insulation that is 2 inches thicker and doesn’t sink to the bottom over time like standard fiberglass insulation, 95 percent efficient furnaces, power-vented, low-E water heaters, Low-E glass windows, a basement system that prevents leaks, studded and insulated basements with drywall ceilings and much more.”

The interior finishes also exceed expectations. Inspired Homes includes granite counter tops, hardwood flooring, stainless steel appliances and many other features the market demands.

“We have put in a lot of effort to find efficiencies in the building process, which allow us to include what people want, build with quality and offer it all at incredible values,” Wassmann said. “We’re grateful that the Kansas City market understands the value and is proud of the homes we build.”

Two brand new models are now open in The Reserve located at 23801 W. 92nd Terrace, Lenexa. Models hours are 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 12 to 6 p.m. on Sundays.

Inspired Homes has also opened new models in Kensington Farms in Lee’s Summit. In addition to the two-story homes that were made available in September, Inspired Homes has now added the cottage series, three different ranch-style floor plans.

Two of the three plans are now modeled and open for viewing, and homebuyers have the option to build these plans in the Retreats, a portion of the community dedicated exclusively to ranch-style floor plans, or the Cottages, a section that consists of both two-story and ranch style homes.

The new ranches range in size from 1,601 to 1,904 square feet and are all two- to three-bedroom, two-bath homes. Pricing ranges from $198,000 to $234,000 and includes the same construction quality and features for which Inspired Homes is quickly becoming known.

“We are extremely excited to bring this diverse portfolio of homes to each community and promise to serve each of them well,” Wassmann said.

Kensington Farms newest models can be found at 1021 SW Almsby Road, Lee’s Summit.
