Buyers flock to Wyngate for location, floor plans and amenities

The Shermans settled on a walkout home site and chose the El Dorado, one of Rodrock’s in-demand, stylish floor plans featuring a convenient main-floor master bedroom, a popular trend with discerning homebuyers. Jessica Sherman notes the lack of a formal dining room, another preference popular with many buyers, was a major selling point, too.

“We’ve lived in homes with formal dining rooms and didn’t use them,” she said. “The El Dorado offers everything we need for our lifestyle, including plenty of space to entertain friends and our East Coast family that visits us frequently.”

Homebuyers prefer Wyngate. But Anthony and Jessica Sherman aren’t the only ones deciding that Wyngate is the ideal place to purchase a new home. Recent statistics from the Heartland MLS reveal 1,300 new homes were sold from Jan. 1, 2012 to Jan. 1, 2015 in Johnson County, with 677 (52 percent) of those sales occurring in the Blue Valley School District.

“We’re nearing the end of selling Wyngate,” Sullivan said. “While there’s still time for buyers to choose their desired home site, I anticipate that with the Fall Parade of Homes just around the corner, they will sell quickly. Buyers are serious and motivated.”

Seven homes ready within 45 days. Wyngate also has seven in-demand floor plans available for occupancy within 45 days.
