New-home communities marketed by The Rob Ellerman Team of ReeceNichols have been buzzing with activity during the Fall Parade of Homes and builders garnered 12 awards.

Ellerman team members said most communities had more than 50 guests the first weekend of the Parade and a couple of communities had more than 200 visitors combined on the first Saturday and Sunday.

And those visitors weren’t just looking, they were buying. Several on-site agents were notified that buyers were writing contracts. The Parade guests loved seeing the newest trends in colors and decor, as well as the selection of plans available in each community.

“We have more furnished models homes and available homes on the Parade this year than in years previous,” Ellerman said. “Buyers are looking for the cutting-edge designs and plans that our builders are providing. I am not surprised by the tremendous turnout this weekend.

“We also have several build-job meetings set up and contracts being signed,” he added. “It’s not your mom and dad’s Parade this year. People are buying now before the house they want is gone.”

Linda Ludy, who markets Tiffany Greens for the Rob Ellerman Team, said record numbers turned out during the first weekend.

“Everybody was so excited about the new products that we have out there, including the Casa Bella home with the million-dollar view of the golf course and other innovative designs by other builders,” Ludy said. “They were very impressed with what developer Don Julian had achieved in his communities.”

The agents who market all of the Summit Custom Home communities said the guests they talked to were excited to see the variety the builder had to offer in home plans and finishing touches.

Jeffri Rimmer, who markets the Chapman Farm communities, said guests were impressed by the amenities Summit has added to the community, including a three-acre stocked fishing lake, a one-mile walking trail, community pool, children’s playground and “Fit-Trail” with three cardio endurance exercises stations.

One guest said Summit is “a builder that takes care of the entire home-buying experience.”

Three homes in communities marketed by the Rob Ellerman Team were honored with Pick of the Parade Grand Awards.

Comerio Corporation won this prestigious award for Entry No. 260 at 4529 Lakecrest Drive in Riverivew, Shawnee.

According to the Home Builders Association, the Pick of the Parade Awards winners are selected based on criteria such as outstanding construction techniques, selection of materials and craftsmanship with judges examining everything from exterior siding to interior framing. The Distinctive Plan and Design Awards focus on interior design and architecture. Winners are determined based on furnishings, accessories, functionality and curb appeal of the homes.
