The Village of Loch Lloyd is proud to feature three of Kansas City’s finest custom home builders in the Kansas City Home Builders Association’s 2022 Artisan Home Tour. Willis Custom Homes, Koehler Building Company, and Starr Homes will showcase the unique and impeccable qualities of their one-of-a-kind homes. The Artisan Home Tour is held the first three weekends in June and is a ticketed event with a portion of the proceeds benefiting the event’s charitable partner, Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.

Located in the south Kansas City metropolitan area, the Village of Loch Lloyd offers a premium level of privacy and security, along with a healthy lifestyle and ready access to the comforts of city life. Nestled along the Blue River, Loch Lloyd is one of the most prestigious addresses in the Kansas City metro with stunning views of the lake and rolling hills accompanying homes of all sizes. All of this is surrounded by Loch Lloyd Country Club and the Tom Watson Signature 18-hole golf course, both of which are premier leisure destinations.

Willis Custom Homes’ signature Clydesdale plan is reimagined in their modern design entry (#8). Elevated elements include a floating staircase with imported Italian marble treads; a 2-story wall of white marble ledgestone embedded with back-lit mirrors; and a glamorous bar alongside a dining area; all of which create a stunning first impression. The lower level is a haven for gaming and entertaining enthusiasts with a golf simulator, bourbon room, and fitness center. Oversized pocket sliding doors lead outside to multiple firepits, waterfalls, outdoor bars, and beautiful water and golf course views. (Offered at $2.5 million).

“The typical home buyer today is very discerning and educated about homeownership,” said Patrick Willis, owner of Willis Custom Homes. “We focus our designs on how people want to live, work and entertain in their homes.”

Gaze out across the 8th hole of the Tom Watson Signature Golf Course from the comfort of the living room in Koehler Builder Company’s entry (#9). This stately 1, ½-story home offers 3,942 square feet with four bedrooms, four bathrooms, and 3-car garage offers living and entertaining space on both levels connected by a striking floating staircase. Choose between the upstairs loft and adjacent balcony with mile-long views or the main level lanai with a welcoming fireplace and infinity-edge pool to relax and reconnect. (This home is SOLD).

Starr Homes’ entry (#7) affords a promontory position on the corner of Loch Lloyd’s most notable street. A bridge spans a stream leading to this over 10,000 square foot home nestled into the natural setting. The home features an open floor plan and sprawling gathering spaces. The spacious primary suite has an extensive walk-in closet and a stunning bathroom. The staircase in the foyer leads you to the vast lower level featuring a playroom, media and game area, theater, and gym for indoor entertaining options. The sport court and custom pool with adjacent pool house offer inviting outdoor areas to enjoy. The wood accents, color selections, and other design elements offer a polished and modern finish to this impressive estate home. (This home is SOLD).

The Village of Loch Lloyd has experienced record-breaking sales in the past 3 years. With the upcoming summer release of a new phase, Stonehaven at Loch Lloyd, the community will continue its notable expansion. Offering a new west gate and wooded, acreage homesites with limited lots located in Johnson County, Kan., this new neighborhood is a culmination of all the elements that make Loch Lloyd special.
