Rodrock’s stunning Sundance Ridge is located east of Mission Road on 175th Street, amidst rolling acreage, winding creeks, and mature trees. The neighborhood is unlike any on the market and is renowned for exceptional homes and privacy—yet is minutes from Blue Valley High School, shopping, entertainment, and restaurants.

Roger and Heidi Breshears were among the very first homeowners to settle in Rodrock’s stunning Sundance Ridge. The couple recognized the neighborhood’s potential early on. Located east of Mission Road on 175th Street, the community is comprised of Big Sky, Red Fox Run, and Archers Landing—amidst rolling acreage, winding creeks, and mature trees. Yet it’s minutes from Blue Valley High School, shopping, entertainment, and restaurants.

Truly, the neighborhood is unlike any on the market, and the Breshears were drawn to the quiet and privacy for which Sundance is known. The family purchased a James Engle home in Archers Landing in 2018 and couldn’t be happier.

“Part of the draw for us was the location,” says Roger. “Sundance Ridge is out a little further without being completely removed from things. We’re 15 minutes from about anyplace we need or want to go. There is no traffic or noise. We really enjoy the very quiet, peaceful setting.”

Another benefit is the connection the Breshears have with their neighbors, Roger says. “We have a real strong sense of community. People look out for each other here and want what’s best for the neighborhood. They didn’t just buy a house—they bought into a community that they want to see succeed. There’s great pride in that.”

That sense of community pride and the exceptional location are apparent to homebuyers, who’ve flocked to Rodrock’s newest and most expansive development. In recent months, sales have surged within the neighborhood.

“While we’ve experienced tremendous sales activity, we still have inventory that can be delivered within approximately 60 days of contract,” promises Bruce Stout, community manager.

Archers Landing provides buyers with a variety of options, including First Choice Custom Homes’ model Tuscan Craftsman, priced at $572,500 and offering immediate occupancy.

“Tabernacle Homes’ 2-story Weston II is situated on a picturesque wooded lot and is available for immediate occupancy,” Bruce continues. “BC Residential also has two of its reverse 1.5-story Aristas—priced at $504,950 and $509,950 respectively—which offer main-level living and back to heavily wooded green space.”

Red Fox Run also offers multiple properties, including Rodrock Homes’ 2-story Lancaster plan, which is nearing completion. “Open spaces and a builder incentive on a lower-level finish make the Lancaster an ideal solution for buyers needing extra room for a home office, additional learning areas, and more,” adds Bob Sloan, community manager. “A similar builder incentive on the New Haven, a 1.5 story backing to green space, makes this home an exceptional value—and the main-level office and master suite are not to be missed.”

Pyramid Homes’ former model, the Olympus II, offers a stunning layout featuring rich textures and elegant charm. Priced at $699,950, this home is a steal considering the reproduction price would be $50,000-$60,000 higher.

Finally, the Olympus II Expanded in Big Sky offers a sumptuous floor plan at a very attractive price point. Listed at $1,099,999, this master build boasts more than 4,820 square foot of finished living space. Just in case a buyer has his or her heart set on more, opportunities for expansion can be found in the walkout-walkup lower level.

The ability to build a new home for $450,000 or under within the coveted Blue Valley School District is an exceptionally rare find! And with three separate neighborhoods, there’s a price point, design style, and home-site option for everyone.

Future plans for growth in Sundance Ridge are nothing short of astounding. In this true master-planned community, careful attention to the smallest of details has been made throughout the planning process to enhance how residents live and interact with their neighbors.

As with many of its communities, Rodrock has set aside land for the construction of a Blue Valley elementary school, ensuring residents have easy access to one of the finest education systems in the state.

And the Sundance Ridge development team is planning an expansive amenity package—including a resort-style clubhouse and pool complex, indoor basketball court, pickle ball court, nature trails, well-equipped playground, picnic area, and more! Construction on the clubhouse and pool is slated to begin this fall—with hopes for summertime fun. Paved trails are also planned, which will offer easy access to the school and amenities, fostering a small-town feel.

Coupled with quiet, safe cul-de-sacs and a true community feel—which will be fueled by the one-of-a-kind Moms’ Council, which plans family-friendly holiday events—Sundance Ridge offers a living experience like no other!
