The Village of Loch Lloyd is a gated master-planned community in the south Kansas City metropolitan area, adjacent to Overland Park and Leawood, that has been actively growing since its acquisition over 20 years ago. The recent release of 38 new lots and subsequent sale of half of them is a testament to the unwavering vision of the developers, Cliff Illig and the Patterson Family Trust, as well as the continued demand for the expansion of the community.

In Loch Lloyd, luxury isn’t defined by size or price. Instead, luxury living incorporates quality elements into your home design that add to your enjoyment of life.

Buyers can find luxury living in a 2,800-square-foot maintenance-provided villa or a 10,000-square-foot estate home with acreage in the Village of Loch Lloyd.

“Luxury living is about incorporating those elements into your home design that mean luxury to YOU — specialty surfaces or elevated appliances; a long-awaited art studio or hobby room; or extraordinary entertainment spaces such as an indoor basketball court or gaming room or an outdoor pizza kitchen,” said Ashlea Black, Vice President of Real Estate Sales & Marketing for Loch Lloyd Real Estate.

“From resale listings starting in the $500,000s, to maintenance-provided villas in the $700,000s, to custom homes ranging from the $800,000s to in excess of $10 million — there are luxury home options for every type of buyer,” Black continued. “The developer’s commitment to providing options for residents at every stage of life is evident and those options are second to none in the region.”

Homesites are also available for buyers wanting to build, including the last waterfront lot featuring sweeping views of the lake at Loch Lloyd; private, wooded estate lots that offer acreage; right-sized lots near the golf course and perfect for empty nesters; and villa lots in The Cove offering maintenance-provided living.

“Loch Lloyd is for families looking for a safe environment to raise their children; it is for empty nesters looking to enjoy an active lifestyle; and it is for retirees looking for the ease of ‘lock and leave’ living,” said Black.

The Country Club at Loch Lloyd is a central point for residents providing golf, tennis, swimming, fitness, social events and even pickleball. In addition to these amenities, the clubhouse offers multiple dining options and indoor and outdoor venues. During this time, the clubhouse is providing curbside pick-up service for the convenience of the community.

“As we are spending extended time at home, buyers realize more than ever the value of a house that reflects their style, is designed for their current needs, and is located in a community that offers amenities that add to their enjoyment of everyday life,” Black said. “The current low interest rates are motivating buyers to move forward on buying or building, continuing the steady growth of the Village of Loch Lloyd.”
