Rodrock Development has been taking part in the Spring Parade of Homes since 1983 and is immensely proud to have 37 years of consecutive wins. Eight homes total—in Stonebridge Park, Stonebridge Trails, Red Fox Run at Sundance Ridge, and Fox Ridge and Saddle Creek at Mission Ranch—were praised for outstanding home design and architecture during this year’s Parade.

“We had 9 communities showcasing 25 gorgeous models,” says Brenda Sanders, President of Rodrock & Associates, Realtors®. “We’re so thankful to our builders for going above and beyond, especially during these unique and extremely busy times. They deserved these wins!”

Two homes netted the coveted Gold in Distinctive Plan and Design, including Dusselier & Marks Homes’ Austin in Stonebridge Park and Rodrock Homes’ Hailey in Fox Ridge at Mission Ranch.

The Austin wowed tour-goers and judges alike with a floor plan that efficiently—and beautifully—makes the most of space. The home is open and bright, sporting 11-foot ceilings and a 12-foot slider with transom windows that flood the space with natural light. The master suite boasts a custom walk-in shower with two shower heads and two large walk-in closets. Upgrades galore include hardwood flooring, premium granite, tile, carpet, trim, and plumbing fixtures. The home also won Silver in the Pick of Parade category!

Meanwhile, rustic modern Hailey in Fox Ridge at Mission Ranch astounded the judges with a grand entry and 10-foot ceilings throughout the main. The first floor includes both a study and private 5th bedroom, with plenty of entertaining space. The kitchen features quartzite counters, custom cabinetry, and a secondary prep kitchen! Excitingly, the upgraded lower level in this model offers a 6th bedroom and bathroom, workout area, and rec room.

The Stonebridge community celebrated yet another win, this time for two Gold Pick of Parades, awarded to Bickimer Homes’ Eastwood in Stonebridge Trails and James Engle Custom Homes’ Emery II in Stonebridge Park.

“The homebuilding industry is so competitive that it’s an incredible honor for our builders to receive these awards,” says Ed Stephenson, community manager at Stonebridge Park. “The real judges are the many homebuyers who come back to these builders to have a second or third house built and highly recommend them to family and friends.”

The Eastwood is bright and airy with an eat-in kitchen that employs the latest in styles—from a subway-tile backsplash to a handsome range head over the gas-top stove—and an envy-inducing walk-in pantry with coffee bar. The vaulted ceiling in the Great Room makes room for a floor-to-ceiling stone-front fireplace. The home also boasts a flexible Jack-and-Jill bedroom on the first floor, which can also be used as a study.

The nearby Emery II is loaded with elegance and upgrades. The open kitchen boasts an oversized island, walk-in pantry, and granite, while the Great Room offers soaring ceilings and a see-through fireplace to the spacious covered patio. The first-floor Master features a sumptuous custom shower, designer tub, and his-and-her vanities. The finished lower level includes a home theatre, stonewall with fireplace, and bar. The home also won Second Place in Distinctive Plan and Design!

Three Silver Pick of Parades were given in total: Dusselier & Marks Homes’ Austin in Stonebridge, Rodrock Homes’ Rawlings in Saddle Creek at Mission Ranch, and Pyramid Homes’ Olympus II in Red Fox Run at Sundance Ridge.

The stylish Rawlings plan in Saddle Creek was a big hit with Parade attendees and the judges, who were impressed by the striking 2-story entry that leads into a Great Room with a wall of windows. The oversized kitchen includes a welcoming breakfast nook and second pantry, ideal for large families and entertaining. Other helpful additions include a convenient mudroom off the 3-car garage, complete with cubbies and a bench. A covered patio beckons for morning coffee or an evening nightcap.

“We’re so excited for Pyramid Homes!” says Bruce Stout, community manager at Sundance Ridge. “The light and bright décor of the Olympus II accent the sharp lines, quality features, and functional daily living design that Mr. Younes strives to achieve on every build. The soaring ceilings, expansive loft area, and resort-style master suite embrace the look and feel of what today’s new homebuyers are seeking. Mr. Younes puts his heart and soul into every home he constructs.”
