There is something distinctively unique about Rodrock communities, not the least of which is the understanding that a home is a huge investment. To that end, Rodrock strives to provide absolute value protection to its residents.

This promise is fulfilled in a number of ways. Zero-entry pools, grills and picnic areas, children’s playgrounds, and clubhouses with workout facilities are found in many Rodrock communities. Knowing the importance of good schools, ground is set aside for the building of award-winning elementary and middle schools.

Communities are laced with paved trails, linking neighbors, providing access to amenities and local schools, and serving as an invitation for strolls. These unparalleled extras delight families and build a sense of camaraderie.

Friendships are further fostered through get-togethers hosted by the Homeowner’s Associations and the Rodrock’s Moms’ Council. An abundance of family-friendly activities are planned throughout the year thanks to the Council.

And Rodrock works with only the area’s most highly regarded homebuilders, including many family-owned companies that have been in business for generations.

All of this and more are on display during this year’s delayed Spring Parade of Homes. While this is a different Parade than in the past, some 375 new homes are ready so attendees can see the latest in homebuilding. Starting June 13th through the 28th, these abodes are open to the public for free tours.

Hours and availability may change, so refer to the KC Parade of Homes App or call ahead for the most up-to-date information. Potential homebuyers are asked to practice social distancing, wear facemasks, and sanitize hands before and after visits. Kindly call ahead to schedule an appointment if accompanied by children under the age of 12. Rodrock is implementing enhanced cleaning and disinfecting procedures; please be mindful of safety protocols for the health and safety of everyone on tour.

More than 25 homes, spread throughout nine of Rodrock’s most popular communities, are opening their doors for this spring’s Parade, including Greens of Chapel Creek in Shawnee; Riverstone, Mission Ranch, and Sundance Ridge in Overland Park; and Grayson Place, Forest View, Stonebridge Meadows, Stonebridge Park, and Stonebridge Trails in Olathe.

“Our builders have outdone themselves with innovative floor plans and decorating trends,” says Brenda Sanders, president of Rodrock & Associates, Realtors®. “With a variety of styles and price points, there’s something for everyone. If you are in the market for a new home, we invite you out to take a look!”

Tour-goers need look no further than Sundance Ridge just east of Mission Road on 175th Street to find five fantastic homes on Parade. Among them is the Arista by BC Residential Homes, a true ranch with a spacious, open design with expansive Great Room and covered lanai.

The Breckenridge by L&G Homes is a notable tour stop, as this reverse 1.5 story was carefully developed to meet homebuyers’ every wish and whim. A stunning master suite and spacious lower level—complete with wet bar, fireplace, and media area—are but a few highlights.

Three homes are ready to tempt homebuyers in Mission Ranch, located at 157th and Mission Road. The brand-new Rawlings plan has 4 bedrooms and a striking 2-story entry that leads into a Great Room with a wall of windows. The oversized kitchen includes a second pantry, ideal for large families and entertaining.

Meanwhile, Rodrock Homes’ Aspen II, a fabulous reverse plan right-sized for today’s market, boasts a generous master suite, soaring ceilings in the main, and rec room and bar in the lower level.

And the 1.5-story New Haven offers 5 bedrooms, 4 baths, more than 3,395 square feet of finished living space, and 2-story vaulted ceilings over the Great Room and hearth area.

Also on tour is Roeser Homes’ 2-story Bailey in the Hills of Forest View. This 4-bedroom abode has an impeccably designed floor plan. With a formal dining room and living room, a 2-story hearth with floor-to-ceiling stone-accented fireplace, and gourmet kitchen, this home is not to be missed.

The family-favorite Stonebridge community, situated between Ridgeview and Black Bob along 167th Street, has a total of 10 homes for Parade-goers to tour. From 2-story designs to ranch homes, this incredible neighborhood boasts an array of trusted builders and price points.

Homebuyers will be delighted by Rodrock’s Parade offerings—but these smartly designed homes will move fast given this tight market!
