Three Chapman Farms communities ready for summer
The Chapman Farms communities of Lakeside, Greenbriar and The Shores, all exclusively built by Summit Custom Homes, are gearing up for summer.
The communities, at Missouri 7 highway and Colbern Road in Lee’s Summit, just announced the completion of a trail system around the lake they share and a new playground. In addition, the community pool opens Memorial Day weekend.
These new amenities, along with the communities’ proximity to Blue Springs Lake, Lake Jacomo, Fleming Park, recreational facilities, renowned sports facilities, golf courses, nature parks and ball parks make them a prime location for families who want to live near a broad range of fun activities.

In The Shores at Chapman Farms, Summit has five available homes. Four are completed, Ashland, Cotton Creek IV and two Preston Ridge IV plans; and one is in the construction process, a Bristol Ridge plan.
The Ashland is a two-story plan with four bedrooms, 31/2 bathrooms, and about 2,759 square feet. It features a breakfast nook and kitchen island, mudroom and upstairs master bedroom with integrated laundry room. The Ashland plan in The Shores will feature a covered patio, tile upgrades and wine fridge.

The Cotton Creek two-story plan offers four bedrooms, 31/2 bathrooms, and about 2, 470 square feet. The Sheffield is a ranch plan with three bedrooms, two bathrooms and about 1,773 square feet. The Sheffield plan in Lakeside has a walkout lower level, cedar deck and designer kitchen.
The Sterling is a two-story plan with four bedrooms, 31/2 bathrooms and about 2,532 square feet. The plan features an integrated laundry and master suite, a mudroom and walk-in pantry. The one in Lakeside will feature a walkout lower level, covered cedar deck, tile upgrades and an expanded concrete patio.
The Windsor Hills is a two-story plan with four bedrooms, 21/2 bathrooms and about 2,200 square feet. This open floor plan features a breakfast nook, kitchen island, mudroom and powder room off of the kitchen.
