Annual Kansas City Remodel + Garden Show Starts Friday, January 31
Mark your calendars for one of the Kansas City area’s favorite events – the annual Kansas City Remodel + Garden Show!
Presented by Marketplace Events and held at the American Royal Center January 31 - February 2, 2020, the Kansas City Remodel + Garden Show is the place to find the latest in innovative interior and exterior home remodeling trends, garden and landscaping ideas and products, do-it-yourself projects and more, all under one roof.
Hundreds of local home improvement experts and exhibitors from heating and cooling to foundation repair and home exteriors, cabinetry, doors and windows, outdoor living and landscaping, home décor, interior design, electronics and home entertainment, indoor and outdoor lighting, and much more will be on hand to provide a wealth of information for all your home and remodeling needs.
Kansas City Remodel + Garden Show attendees will also find a wide variety of other special features and stage presentations throughout the weekend. These include:
* Touring a fully decorated and landscaped Model Home by Newcastle Homes inside Hale Arena.
* Exploring the unique Designer Room created by Blooming Keepsakes, a Kansas City area boutique specializing in custom upholstery and thousands of fabrics to fit your lifestyle.
* Wandering through the Six-Week Greenhouse. At less than $100 to build, this concept will help you get a jumpstart on a productive and successful growing season.
* A Make It, Take It DIY Station with the DIVA of DIY Leanne Lee. These free, first-come first-served workshops will be offered several times throughout the Show and include all supplies.
* Gaining inspiration and ideas for your lawn and yard projects while strolling through several amazing Feature Gardens.
* Learning the hot new colors to make your home décor pop in 2020 at The Pantone Spring 2020 Colors display.
* At Ask an Expert by Kansas City NARI Chapter, members of the association will be on-hand to answer all your questions about the remodeling process.
* The Water Garden Society of Greater Kansas City will showcase a freestanding Water Garden to help you create a tranquil water feature in your own backyard.
Opening Day, Friday, January 31, will feature two special designations:
Trade Day
Here, all home-related tradespeople or members of an affiliated association get into the show FREE! To receive a complimentary admission, simply show your valid business card, association membership card, employee ID, or vocational or trade school ID at the Will-Call window.
Hero Day
All active and retired military personnel, fire, police and first responders with a valid ID will be honored by receiving FREE admission and parking. The first 300 Heroes will also receive a complimentary pass to The National WWI Museum and Monument.
Special Contests
There are also three special contests for attendees this year:
