Rodrock Development nets a lucky 13 wins in Fall Parade of Homes
This fall brought a most bountiful harvest in the form of 13 outstanding wins within Rodrock Developments for the 2018 Fall Parade of Homes. Five fantastic abodes were awarded the Pick of the Parade, while another 8 beauties garnered the Distinctive Plan and Design Award.
“Our builders have worked exceptionally hard this year and were so deserving of these honors,” says Brenda Sanders, President of Rodrock & Associates, Realtors®. “In fact, two homes earned the top distinction of garnering both Pick of Parade Gold and First in Distinctive Plan and Design. We are so proud of the beautiful offerings within our wonderful communities!”
One of the homes to receive both Pick of Parade Gold and First in Distinctive Plan and Design was Stonebridge Trails’ Marietta III. “Stonebridge Trails is happy to congratulate D&M Homes on their 2 awards,” says community manager Joan Jacquin. “This gorgeous reverse 1.5 story boasts an impressive entry with barrel-vaulted ceiling, oversized rooms on the main floor, and 2 closets in the master suite.”
This distinct honor was also bestowed upon the Colorado Windbrook by Dreams & Design Building in Red Fox Run in Sundance Ridge. “This incredible reverse features an in-house ‘Sports Bar’ with 3 TV connections, HDMI cables, and surround sound pre-wire—and it’s Energy Star 3.1 certified,” says Bob Sloan, community manager.
High accolades were also awarded to Hilmann Home Building’s fabulously attired Chesapeake II.2 in Archers Landing in Sundance Ridge. This Gold-winning home sports open spaces, voluminous ceiling heights, detailed trim, and more. “The lower-level entertainment area boasts a large wet bar adjacent to a recreation area accented by a fireplace, built-ins, and theater space,” says Bruce Stout, community manager.
Two remaining homes earned the Pick of Parade Silver Award, including the Weston by Tabernacle Homes in Archers Landing and a rare new construction in Southwick on the Lake by Todd Hill Homes.
The 2-story Weston is a prime example of form and function fabulously intertwining, especially throughout the formal dining/living/Great Room combination that overlooks a spectacular covered lanai. Meanwhile, the Todd Hill home sits on 4.43 acres and makes the most of both the lake views and the sweeping land around it. This sublime home includes 5 sumptuous bedrooms, 5.5 baths, a fantastic finished lower level, and a covered lanai.
A sublime selection of homes also garnered accolades for Distinctive Plan and Design, including the exceptional Windermere by BCI-Bowen Custom Homes at the Mill at Riverstone.
“Congratulations to BCI-Bowen Custom Homes’ Windermere on its incredible First-place win,” says Craig Hauser, community manager. “This beautiful 1.5 story has a soaring 2-story entry opening to a spacious Great Room complete with wall of windows. The kitchen offers an extra-large granite island, room for a double refrigerator, an incredible pantry, and large dining area.”
The Laurel Expanded in the Greens of Chapel Creek also earned First in Distinctive Plan and Design. This home has a full wall of windows along the back of the house and offers an additional 2 feet in the kitchen, prep area, and vaulted dining room, so the home has all the stretch room families need.
Finally, some four stunning homes earned Second in Distinctive Plan and Design, all of which were located in Sundance Ridge. “Our award-winning builders are continually raising the bar on quality and design,” says Bruce. “Their unwavering commitment to excellence and an earnest desire to create homes that surround our residents in comfort is shown with each new idea, unique feature and outstanding floor plan design.”
This winning list includes the Emrik III by Rob Washam Homes. “A spectacular 2-story Great Room in this build provides a voluminous feel with a stone-accented fireplace flanked by built-ins,” says Bruce. “And the gourmet kitchen easily transitions from dinner prep area to the focal point during a night of entertainment.”
The award-winning, 1.5-story Edgewood by J.S. Robinson Fine Homes earned yet more accolades and is an entertainer’s delight, featuring an open main level filled with natural light. “The center-island kitchen overlooks the impressive Great Room and covered lanai, while a spacious upper level offers a lofted area—ideal for casual entertaining,” says Bob Sloan, community manager.
James Engle Custom Homes also won big with its Jameson. “You will love the open feel with the 2-story Great Room and the kitchen with gorgeous center island,” says Bob. This 1.5-story abode truly provides functionality coupled with elegant and thoughtful design.
Finally, Sundance Ridge’s Big Sky caught the judges’ attention with the Kensington by Starr Homes. “This home offers a contemporary spin on classic styling that is bound to impress,” adds Bob. “Clean, crisp lines, with dark and bright contrasting décor truly provide a one-of-a-kind feel.”
“We strongly encourage homebuyers to come out and discover what the Fall Parade of Homes judges learned: Rodrock Developments offer award-winning home designs by the best builders in the area,” says Brenda. “When coupled with our outstanding locations, thoughtfully planned neighborhoods, and ample amenities, it’s an unbeatable combination!”
