When John and Maria Bolyard first discovered Inspired Homes, they were drawn to the visible quality of construction. And now that they live in Huntford, they appreciate another part of life in an Inspired Homes neighborhood: a true sense of community.

“When we go on a walk, everyone talks to us and greets us,” Maria said. “There’s a different feel here—everyone wants to meet their neighbors.”

As the Fall Parade of Homes continues through October 7, now is an ideal time to visit Huntford and experience this warm, welcoming community firsthand.

Prospective buyers are encouraged to tour Huntford’s model home, which is featured on the Fall Parade. The reverse 1½-story Quintessa floor plan includes three bedrooms, three bathrooms and a deck, the perfect spot from which to enjoy Huntford’s quiet, picturesque surroundings.

The model home also features an interactive sales center, complete with a touchscreen monitor that prospective buyers can use to explore both homesites and move-in ready homes.

For buyers interested in moving to Huntford on a faster timeline, seven move-in ready homes are available. They include five reverse 1½-story and two two-story floor plans that each offer four bedrooms and three or 3½ bathrooms, depending on the layout. Prices range from $368,840 to $407,860 and prospective buyers are encouraged to reach out to Inspired Homes for details on special financing options.

The Bolyards opted to build a Quintessa home in Huntford. They had watched friends and family members work with other builders, sometimes with upsetting results, but were impressed by Inspired Homes’ kindness and transparency.

“Every time I came on-site, everyone was so kind,” she said. “They’d smile, greet me and find our project manager or someone in charge to answer questions. I heard from other friends that it’s unheard of to have your project manager’s cell number, but I had Scott’s. He made it clear at initial meetings that he’s there all day and you can call and email with questions.”

Prospective buyers who prefer to build with Inspired Homes can select from a limited selection of premium homesites that include locations on the community pond and golf course. Walkout, flat and daylight homesites are available.

Plus, Inspired Homes recently launched two new floor plans at Huntford, including an in-demand true ranch layout. The Sonoma offers 1,800 square feet, three bedrooms and two bathrooms and starts at $324,990.

The second new plan is also expected to be popular among prospective buyers. The Rutherford is a two-story with three bedrooms (and an option for four bedrooms) and 2½ bathrooms. The Rutherford starts at $321,990, an appealing price point that gives more buyers an opportunity to experience the Inspired Homes difference.

“The Rutherford is really well laid out and is a wonderful space,” said Amy Maher, community manager. “To be able to offer a two-story home in Olathe from the low $300,000s is so exciting. It puts us in an entirely different category.”

There’s so much to see inside Huntford during the Fall Parade of Homes, but visitors are encouraged to explore the surrounding Olathe area. The prime location offers the best of both worlds: scenic, peaceful surroundings with close proximity to enviable recreation, dining, shopping and highway access. That includes Lake Olathe, which is in the midst of an exciting expansion that will put attractions like a zip line, botanical garden and a marina just down the hill from Huntford. Plus, Huntford is in the popular Olathe School District, including Olathe West High School.

Randy and Jerri Crawford moved to Huntford earlier this year. After opting for a move-in ready home, the Crawfords were moved into the community in less than a month and praised both the experience and the location.

“The location is fantastic, the community is fantastic,” Randy said. “It’s been a really great experience, and Amy is incredible. The buying process was made better because of her. It’s worked out perfectly.”
