Summit Custom Homes features 27 entries in Parade
Award-winning builder Summit Custom Homes is featuring 27 new homes on the Home Builders Association of Greater Kansas City’s Fall Parade of Homes. The Parade of Homes begins Saturday, Sept. 27, and runs through Sunday, Oct. 12. The homes are open daily from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
The metro-wide builder’s entries are spread throughout Kansas City, offering residents on both sides of the state line an opportunity to tour homes at their convenience.
“Summit is building in premier communities throughout the Kansas City metro area, and we wanted to give a good representation of that through our Parade of Homes entries,” said Jodi Hermstedt, sales director for Summit Custom Homes. “The homes are spread out, so no matter where you are in the metro area you can experience the Summit difference for yourself.”
Summit Custom Homes, the largest new-home builder in the Kansas City market, is known for building energy-efficient homes with exceptional standard features, as well as for its relentless dedication to customer service. The company’s entries in this year’s fall Parade of Homes reflect this reputation.
Summit Custom Homes focuses on building finely crafted homes that feature innovative floor plans and unique decorative fixtures at an exceptional value. The company’s standard features include wide-plank wood flooring in all main traffic areas and rubbed-copper wrought-iron stair spindles, as well as island kitchens with custom designer cabinetry, a walk-in pantry and stainless steel appliances.
Premium Delta plumbing fixtures are standard through each home, including a spa master bathroom with tile flooring and an oversized walk-in shower with dual shower heads. Summit homes also feature stucco and stone veneer front elevations and many floor plans include a three-car garage. The company offers an industry-leading 10-year structural home warranty.
Each home has been built with Summit’s proprietary Green Build Advantage, adding increased energy efficiency and healthier indoor air quality to an already impressive list of standard features. The program incorporates the latest building techniques to give homebuyers a home that is rated at up to 30 percent more efficient than other new homes and 50 percent more efficient than a 10-year-old home.
By using formaldehyde-free insulation, low or no VOC (volatile organic compound) paints, glues and sealants where available, a passive radon remediation system, a sealed air distribution duct work, and a high-particulate MERV-11 furnace filter, Summit Custom Homes is able to provide healthier indoor air quality in its homes. The Green Build Advantage ultimately offers families a more comfortable living environment and lower utility bills.
“Summit is thrilled to be a part of the Parade of Homes,” said Valerie Rolfes, marketing director for Summit Custom Homes. “The fall season offers a great opportunity to get out, enjoy the last of the nice weather, and look at all of the beautiful homes. We have something for everyone in this year’s Parade.”
