Grisamore Real Estate Services assists homebuyers in transition to perfect home
Few real estate professionals can claim the experience of Dee Grisamore. During the last 35 years, he has marketed, managed and sold more than 15 new-home developments as well as developed four residential communities. But it is Grisamore’s ability to bring together builders, developers, buyers and sellers to craft a quality custom home that brings him the most satisfaction.
Grisamore of Grisamore Real Estate Service has created a company to assist empty-nesters’ transition to the perfect house for their current and future needs from their existing home. Grisamore also helps them manage the transition. Many of these homes are custom designed and built to the buyer’s specifications.
With more than 35 years of real estate experience, Grisamore believes he is ideally suited to assist and consult with his friends and customers regarding their real estate needs. Grisamore Real Estate Service also consults with numerous builders and developers in developing specifications for new-home developments, prepares homeowners association documents and prepares marketing plans.
“When you match a prospective homeowner with the right builder and architect, the result is nothing short of magical,” Grisamore said. “That is one of the most exciting elements of what I do. A great builder will want to hear the client’s desires and translate that into a beautiful, functional and livable home.”
Such is the case with Tuscany Reserve Village in Leawood. The exclusive builder for the community is Willis Construction Inc., which has been building and remodeling homes in the Kansas City area for more than 45 years. Each of the nine custom villas is being designed by well-known architect Scott Bickford Design. Both companies have won numerous awards for their extensive work in the Kansas City area.
“Having Willis Construction and Scott Bickford Design working together as a team at Tuscany Reserve Village ensures homebuyers will get an exceptional custom home,” said Grisamore, who is the exclusive broker marketing the community.
A newly completed reverse 11/2-story model home, priced at $898,950 and located at 3322 W. 127th Street, is now available for viewing. Award-winning decorator Janet Alholm has incorporated the latest interior finishes and colors throughout. It is entered in the upcoming Fall Parade of Homes.
The Old World Italian charm of Tuscany Reserve Village is evident in the community with features that include a lit Mediterranean fountain surrounded by brick pavers and lush landscaping. Neighborhood amenities include a small lake, gazebo, beautiful walking trails, fountains, lush landscaping and paver brick streets.
“The amenities provided by the homeowners’ association reflect the luxurious lifestyle found in Tuscany Reserve Village,” Grisamore said.
In addition to managing the community and its landscaping, the association affords residents a maintenance-provided lifestyle with curbside recycling, lawn maintenance, snow removal and trash pickup included in monthly dues.
Grisamore believes that with his 35 years of experience and connections he can help people find the perfect amenities, floor plan, builder, architect, location, financing or home. After all, he has been working closely with all of those within the industry for many years. He is a member of the Home Builders Association, director of the Kansas Association of Realtors and past member of the government affairs committee for the Kansas City Regional Association of Realtors.
“I minimize the frustration by setting clients up for success,” Grisamore said. “For example, rather than just connecting a buyer to an architect, I come ready with floor plans from which they can draw inspiration. So, when they meet with the architect they do not waste time trying to figure out what they really want or increase their expenses making changes.”
Grisamore also uses his expertise to assist clients with the transition from their existing home so they can move into the right home more quickly. Something as simple as staging or updating some features of an existing home can make the difference between a quick sale and something lingering on the market. He said it is all about knowing people and understanding their place in transitioning through life.
“I care about my customer’s needs as they advance through the many cycles of life,” Grisamore said. “Whether a first home, a second home as a client’s family grows, a retirement home after the children have grown, a vacation home or even a relative’s home, my goal is to be understanding and caring. If I am able to make a client’s life more fulfilling and rewarding, I will have accomplished my goal.”
