Eagle Creek offers Parade visitors four diverse floor plans to tour
Eagle Creek welcomed Parade of Homes enthusiasts in droves last weekend, excited to see the fully furnished, professionally decorated model homes now open.
“This may be the best line-up of Parade entries in Lee’s Summit,” said Peggy Holmes, ReeceNichols Realtor and co-community manager with Carol Smetanka. “We have four builders, all based in Lee’s Summit, who have worked hard to differentiate themselves from their competition. It has resulted in some of the most beautiful homes ever built in this community.”
JFE Construction is debuting its first model home in Eagle Creek with entry No. 269, the Silverton II. This two-story plan welcomes guests with sliding barn doors leading to an office or formal dining room just off the entry and a fresh color palette and decor give the home a sleek and sophisticated feel.
SAB Homes is featuring its fabulous Riviera floor plan, entry no. 270, which won an American Dream First Place Award. This reverse 11/2-story home is known for its wide open entertainment space and soaring stone fireplace in the great room. The home is situated on one of the few remaining green space home sites in Eagle Creek, making it ideal for those looking for privacy within a family-oriented neighborhood.
Parade entry No. 271 is Sallee Homes’ ever-popular Terry floor plan, a reverse 11/2-story that offers unique finishes including a must-see freestanding soaker tub set on a bed of river stone in the master bathroom. The home is conveniently located near one of the neighborhood swimming pools and just down the street from the playground.
Summit Custom Homes packed quality, craftsmanship and value into its two-story Huntington plan, entry No. 272. Priced under $300,000, this home is a rare find with four bedrooms, 21/2 bathrooms and all of the high-end finishes that today’s buyers expect. It backs to a mature tree line, which makes for peaceful evenings on the expanded back patio.
“It’s tough for visitors to choose a favorite because each home offers something unique and memorable,” said Holmes. “Whether people are in the market for a new home or just looking for new decorating ideas, they should definitely make Eagle Creek their first stop.”
Surrounded by rolling hills and farmland, Eagle Creek is in Lee’s Summit off of Pryor Road, three miles south of Interstate 470. Residents enjoy the country-like setting, while popular shopping centers, grocery stores and lively downtown Lee’s Summit are just minutes away. Nearby Missouri 150 Highway also allows quick access for those commuting to Johnson County.
Monuments with cascading waterfalls and generous landscaping greet residents and visitors at both entrances and two community swimming pools, a playground, acres of green space and paved walking trails connecting to a 27-acre city park provide families and individuals a place to relax and unwind just outside their front door.
Eagle Creek is in the highly acclaimed Lee’s Summit School District, including the commonly sought-after Lee’s Summit West High School attendance area. Children also attend Summit Lakes Middle School and Hawthorn Hill Elementary School.
Developed by Hunt Midwest Residential, the mixed-use community features townhomes, single-family homes and land for future villas or other neighborhood friendly businesses. The master-plan allows for homes in a range of price points to accommodate different lifestyles and, once complete, will include 1,000 residences. New homes in the community are marketed exclusively by ReeceNichols.
The Spring Parade of Homes, presented by the Home Builders Association of Greater Kansas City, offers free admission to tour 340 homes throughout the Kansas City area, each open 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily through May 10.
