Those looking to capitalize on the rare opportunity to build a home along the Shoal Creek Golf Course are encouraged to visit Links III soon as home sites have been selling at an unprecedented rate.

“We announced that we would begin taking lot reservations at 10 a.m. on a Saturday and a line had formed by 7 a.m. that morning,” said Sherri Cole, on-site community manager at Woodneath Farms and ReeceNichols Realtor. “It was so exciting to get to help people reserve the home site where they’re going to build their dream home and watch them meet their new neighbors at the same time. We had 10 reservations by the end of the day.”

Woodneath Farms has long been a destination community with rolling hills, larger home sites and grand residences, all located in the Liberty School District on Flintlock Road north of Missouri 152. All homes are required to have brick and stone facades, giving them a classic, timeless look.

Amenities were designed with families in mind and include a competition-size swimming pool, lake and fountain, walking trails, playground, nature areas, tennis court, picnic pavilion, recreation area, generous landscaping and brick entrance monuments. The Mid-Continent Public Library Woodneath branch and Shoal Creek Elementary are situated on either side of the community’s entrance, adding additional conveniences within walking distance of home.

The builder team accounts for the most diverse and professional in the metro, providing buyers the ultimate customized home-building experience. Furnished model homes by Klopfenstine Construction, McFarland Custom Builders and Signature Homes are open daily.

Completed homes include two two-story plans and two reverse 11/2-story plans. Seven additional homes are in various stages of completion by Aspen Homes, Summit Custom Homes and Woodneath Farms’ newest builders, Homes by Chris and SAB Homes.

“We were thrilled to have Homes by Chris and SAB Homes recently join the Woodneath Farms builder team,” said Cole. “Both of these builders offer quality and craftsmanship that people have come to expect. We look forward to having their inventory homes complete in late summer.”

While over half of the home sites have been reserved by buyers and home builders, 25 remain including several that back to the Shoal Creek Golf Course.

“If you haven’t been out to see the new phase, you must make time to do so soon,” urged Cole. “The Spring Parade of Homes begins this weekend and serves as the kick-off to the home-buying season. The remaining home sites won’t last long.”

Woodneath Farms has six entries in the Parade of Homes that runs April 25 through May 10. Homes are open daily from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. and admission is free. Homes available to tour include Summit Custom Homes at 9515 N Kentucky Ave.; Klopfenstine Construction at 9311 N. Farley Ave. and 9505 N. Kentucky Ave.; Signature Homes at 9414 N. Farley Court; and McFarland Custom Builders at 8846 NE 94th St. and 9531 N. Hunter Ave.
