New Villas of Parkwood will debut during Spring Parade of Homes
New-home builder Summit Custom Homes will debut a select new series of floor plans designed to bring luxury to single-level living during the Home Builders Association of Greater Kansas City’s Spring Parade of Homes.
The Villas of Parkwood is a maintenance-provided community in Lee’s Summit featuring five exclusive new floor plans, each combining thoughtful space planning with luxury features. Elements such as box vault ceilings, a designer chef’s kitchen and custom tile zero-entry showers give each home rich character while details like two-panel solid roman interior doors, lever door handles and rocker light switches give added sophistication and convenience. These added luxury features are included at no additional cost in every home in the Villas in addition to Summit’s already extensive list of standard features.
Summit has carefully designed a flexible lower level finish package for each floor plan in the Villas, allowing homebuyers to easily add extra rec room space and a wet bar for entertaining or additional bedrooms to comfortably accommodate visiting friends or family.
Featuring Mediterranean-style home exteriors with ceramic tiled roofs, the attentively designed community showcases strategic architectural design and aesthetic detail. Enhanced landscape packages, irrigation systems and provided lawn maintenance and snow removal cultivate an elegant and upscale neighborhood atmosphere that is maintenance free for homeowners.
“The Villas of Parkwood offer deluxe finishes and features with floor plans that have been designed with flexibility in mind,” said community manager Danielle Sapienza. “With the pre-designed lower-level finishes, homes in the Villas can be tailored to fit the varying needs of families today. The provided maintenance and the amenities offered in the community are a great bonus, too.”
The Villas of Parkwood is within the Stoney Creek community, one of the fastest-selling master-planned communities in Lee’s Summit. Stoney Creek offers residents an unparalleled assortment of amenities, including two swimming pools with covered cabanas, miles of neighborhood sidewalks for walking, two community playgrounds and a sand volleyball court.
The community is connected by sidewalk to adjacent Lee’s Summit Parks and Recreation’s Osage Trails Park, offering residents access to walking trails, picnic areas and a playground.
Located off Missouri 150 near Ward Road, Stoney Creek is just a few minutes’ drive from the charming downtown Lee’s Summit shopping district, three superior golf courses and scenic hiking, fishing, boating and camping at both Longview Lake and James A. Reed Memorial Wildlife area.
In addition to the debut of three new model homes in the Villas of Parkwood, Summit Custom Homes will also feature 12 more homes on the Parade of Homes in both Kansas and Missouri. As the largest new-home builder in the Kansas City market, Summit is known for building finely-crafted homes that feature innovative floor plans and unique decorative fixtures at an exceptional value.
The company’s standard features include wide-plank wood flooring in all main traffic areas and rubbed-copper wrought-iron style stair spindles, as well as island kitchens with custom designer cabinetry, a walk-in pantry and stainless steel appliances. Premium Delta plumbing fixtures are standard throughout each home, including a spa master bathroom with tile flooring and an oversized walk-in shower with dual shower heads.
Summit homes also feature stucco and stone veneer front elevations and many floor plans include a three-car garage. The company offers an industry-leading 10-year structural home warranty.
Each home featured in the Parade is built with Summit Custom Homes’ proprietary Green Build Advantage.
“With Green Build Advantage, we incorporate the latest developments in home building science to ensure superior indoor air quality and energy-efficiency, delivering a healthy home environment and up to a 30 percent savings on utility bills annually,” noted Deon Cross, vice president of construction management for Summit Custom Homes.
In addition to a high-efficiency HVAC system package, an extensive caulk and foam package and R-13 formaldehyde-free exterior wall insulation keep outside air out and conditioned air in, which translates to lower energy bills year-round. The company installs passive radon remediation piping, a MERV-11 furnace filter and a sealed distribution duct work system to prevent conditioned air from passing through dusty interior walls and floor framing, providing families cleaner, healthier indoor air quality in their living spaces.
