If you’re out and about on the Spring Parade of Homes, there are two stops you don’t want to miss—that is, as long as you enjoy some truly stunning scenery. Rodrock Development’s Forest View and Arbor Woods are each nestled in a beautiful bit of terrain, which tour-goers may find more than a little tempting.

Forest View is located just west of Highway 7 on 119th Street, and its entrance is a sight to see. Comprised of The Estates of Forest View, The Hills of Forest View, and The Meadows of Forest View, the community sits atop a gently winding boulevard, past a cascading 50-foot waterfall, natural rock bluffs, and lush greenery.

Builders appreciate this rare gem and have built some of their finest spec homes in the community. In fact, throughout the three neighborhoods, Parade-goers can find eight entries by six award-winning builders.

“Customers are eager to see the latest styles by our homebuilders,” says community manager Bruce Stout. “Each of our models entered into the Parade of Homes over the last 18 months has received top awards. With tried-and-true floor plans combined with the scenic beauty found in Forest View, we always welcome the Parade and the large number of interested customers searching for their next home.”

Among the accolades are two former Grand Award Winners—JFE Construction’s Silverton IV and Hillman Home Building’s Chesapeake II.1—and a Runner-Up Winner, James Engle Custom Homes’ Laurel II. All these fantastic homes can be found in the model row in The Hills of Forest View.

But The Hills doesn’t get to have all the fun. A newly completed model row was recently revealed at The Estates of Forest View to much fanfare. The models include the stunning 1.5-story Denali Chalet by Tabernacle Homes, J.S. Robinson Fine Homes’ newest reverse 1.5-story The Tiburon, and JFE Construction fantastic 1.5-story Maplewood II.

“The Denali Chalet showcases the artistry of Tabernacle Homes design features and thoughtful layout design,” Bruce says. “Featuring a 2-story Great Room with floor-to-ceiling windows and rustic truss beams, Tabernacle Homes brings home the elegant feel and openness sought after by the discerning buyer.”

Meanwhile The Tiburon seeks to answer the public’s desire for 3 bedrooms on the main level of a reverse 1.5 story. “Expanding the footprint, Jeff was able to incorporate a third main level bedroom/office behind the kitchen area, while not reducing the spaces afforded the remaining components of the main level,” Bruce explains. “And lastly, The Maplewood II provides a glimpse of the stunning attention to detail combined with thoughtful floor-plan design that JFE Construction offers. Chris and his team have created a tasteful home, complete with today’s sought-after features.”

Excitingly, Forest View will also have the added bonus of a donation bin located in its model office to accept clothes, shoes, backpacks, and more to benefit area children in foster care through the Darol Rodrock Foundation. It’s the perfect opportunity for tour-goers to do some spring-cleaning while benefiting those in need.

Neighboring Arbor Woods also has some truly superb opportunities amidst its rolling acreage.

“Arbor Woods is picking up steam, and Chris George Homes and Darol Rodrock Homes are stoking the fire,” says Bruce. “Offering several 2-story and reverse-1.5-story plans priced from $368,900 to $429,950, options are plenty for the discerning buyer looking for quality construction in an area bustling with activity.”

In fact, the community is located just across the street from the award-winning Forest View elementary school. And with lots ranging from just $64,950 to $84,950, it’s the perfect spot for families to build their dream home.

“Darol Rodrock Homes’ fantastic Marco reverse 1.5 includes a large Great Room with vaulted ceiling and fireplace that opens to the dining room,” Bruce says. “Rich hardwoods accent the open, bright feel of the main level, while the planning area off the kitchen is ideal for active homeowners. The Marco provides the proverbial ‘big bang in a small package’! I am excited to unveil the team’s new, stunning design.”

Also on Parade is Chris George Homes’ Yorkshire IV. “The Yorkshire’s functional front-porch elevation draws you in, while the interior features grasp your attention,” Bruce says. “A large kitchen, formal dining, and bonus office/craft room just off the kitchen are truly welcoming, while rear stairs add to the open feel, inviting you to the upper level’s functional layout.”

Both communities are rolling out their Spring finest to delight tour-goers. With proven award winners and new plans unveiled, the Parade is the ideal time to discover what delighted residents already know.
