Homebuyers who want to move quickly to a serene community near extensive outdoor recreational opportunities may find just what they are seeking at Park Ridge in Lee’s Summit.

This master-planned community is surrounded by Fleming Park and next door to Lake Jacomo and Blue Springs Lake.

Park Ridge features a wealth of amenities that include several miles of walking trails meandering throughout the lush, natural surroundings; a pool; tennis courts; fitness center; and landmark clubhouse, which allow homeowners to enjoy healthy, active lifestyles, all within minutes of their homes.

Potential residents who want to move soon will find six homes from award-winning builders immediately available and four more that will be completed in 30 to 90 days.

Two of the immediately available homes were built by Wood Brothers Construction. The Riley and Aribella are two-story plans with four bedrooms and 31/2 bathrooms. The Riley also has a first-floor office. It is priced at $383,000. The Aribella is on a daylight home site and is priced at $379,900.

Ben Cerra Construction also offers two completed homes. The Martello is a four-bedroom, 31/2-bathroom reverse 11/2-story plan priced at $424,900 and the Sierra is a four- to five-bedroom, 31/2-bathroom two-story plan priced at $344,900.

Zvacek Construction is offering the Madalynn II, a four- to five-bedroom two-story with 31/2 bathrooms and priced at $358,500.

Another two-story plan, the Hawthorn, with four bedrooms and a loft, is offered by Wyss Construction and is priced at $419,900.

The sixth available home is a maintenance-provided ranch-style home built by Park Homes. It offers three bedrooms and a finished lower level and is priced at $314,900.

Homes nearing completion are a two-story Delany II plan by Wood Brothers that is priced at $394,900; a two-story Chancellor plan by Graham Homes, priced at $385,000 and a 11/2-story Durango plan by Wood Brothers, priced at $409,900.

Another member of the building team, Scott Pryor Homes, recently sold an inventory home and plans to soon begin others.

In addition to these available homes, Park Ridge has new single-family home sites in its third and fourth phases for those who would like to select a location for a custom-built home by any of the approved builders. Home sites include flat, daylight and walkout locations that accommodate a variety of home styles.

Phase three opened with 12 home sites priced from $49,500 to $59,500 and three of those sites have sold. Also recently opened was phase four with 25 home sites priced from $67,000 to a high of $120,000 for sites backing to Fleming Park. Six of the phase four sites have sold.

And since only one home remains available in Park Ridge’s maintenance-provided detached home neighborhood, The Manor, a new phase of 29 maintenance-provided home sites has opened in Tranquility at the Trails of Park Ridge and nine inventory homes are under construction.

Because homes have been selling quickly in Park Ridge, developer ACH Development is now planning the fifth phase of single-family home sites that will include a second pool and playground. It is expected to open in the spring.

The wide variety of homes, prices and neighborhoods in Park Ridge, ranging from single-family homes to luxury homes and maintenance-provided villas, has resulted in people of all ages calling it home and several multiple-generation families live within the community.

Located in Lee’s Summit, Park Ridge boasts a prime location that’s one mile east of Interstate 470 on Woods Chapel Road. Residents can conveniently access local shopping, dining and entertainment, and are near several highways that connect to popular destinations throughout the Kansas City area.
