The Fall Parade of Homes kick-off couldn’t come at a better time as new activity is sweeping through the architecturally diverse neighborhoods and resort-style surroundings of Cedar Creek, creating a number of exciting purchase opportunities for prospective homeowners eager to live within the community.

As the much anticipated Parade of Homes continues through opening weekend, Cedar Creek is home to several Parade entries that exemplify the craftsmanship and talent of several renowned members of Cedar Creek’s building team. This year’s Parade listings include:

In the Woods of Southglen at 11675 S. Gleason Road, Roeser Homes features a four-bedroom, three-bathroom reverse 1½-story Magnolia floor plan with a generous 3,415 square feet of living space.

One of Cedar Creek’s newer neighborhoods, The Crossings at Southglen, includes several Parade listings. At 24297 W. 111th Place, Extraordinary Homes features a three-bedroom, two-bathroom ranch floor plan with a large open concept living/kitchen/dining room, a courtyard entry and a sizable patio that extends the home’s living space outside.

At 24676 W. 112th Terrace, Summit Custom Homes showcases a four-bedroom, three-bathroom Meadowbrook floor plan, a reverse 1½-story layout with 2,854 square feet of living space. Two additional listings – an Irving floor plan from Rodrock Homes and an Emery Reverse from James Engle Custom Homes – have been sold and will not be open to tour.

The aforementioned builders and others, including Braklow Custom Homes and LDH Construction, all have speculative homes underway throughout Cedar Creek, ideal options for prospective buyers looking to accommodate a specific move-in timeline. In The Crossings at Southglen, availability ranges from immediate to 240 days, with prices ranging in the mid-$400,000s.

In The Woods of Southglen, Roeser’s Magnolia Parade listing is available immediately, while the Aspen from LDH Construction will be complete in approximately 3 months and is priced at $642,950.

For prospective buyers who prefer the ease of maintenance-provided living, a four-bedroom, three-bathroom reverse 1½-story Seville floor plan from Tim Hoelting Homes will be available in 60 days in the Villas of Shadow Glen and is priced at $469,950.

Prefer to work with one of Cedar Creek’s celebrated builders to create a custom-built home? If you’ve dreamed of living along the picturesque terrain of Cedar Creek’s Shadow Glen Golf Club, now’s the time to act. The Ridge at Shadow Glen, Cedar Creek’s newest neighborhood, offers the final golf course homesites available in the resort-style community.

The selection of 42 homesites, a mix of walkout, daylight and flat homesites, are now available for reservation, with prices ranging from the upper $70,000s to the lower $200,000s. Prospective homeowners are encouraged to reach out to the Cedar Creek sales team quickly, as these homesites are expected to be popular among homeowners eager to experience the idyllic surroundings and resort-style amenities that have made Cedar Creek a top choice for hundreds of buyers.

With fall quickly approaching, now is also an ideal time to consider another of Cedar Creek’s newer neighborhoods, Hidden Lake Estates. Forty secluded homesites, some of which are more than one acre, offer scenic wooded views along winding cul-de-sac streets that will be especially gorgeous during the height of fall foliage. Several Cedar Creek builders have speculative homes underway in Hidden Lake Estates, and a handful of homesites are available for prospective buyers who would prefer to create a custom-built home. Additional homesites will be available next spring. Prices in the neighborhood range from the upper $600,000s to more than $1 million.

As you explore Cedar Creek’s neighborhoods, you’ll also have a chance to see the community’s extensive, resort-style amenities package, the perfect antidote to hectic back-to-school and work schedules. Spend a few hours in one of two swimming pools, enjoy a sunset stroll around the 65-acre Shadow Lake or gather friends and family for a round at the award-winning, 18-hole Shadow Glen Golf Club. Homeowners also have access to a free-form swimming pool, four lighted tennis courts, a second swimming pool in the Southglen neighborhood, jogging and walking trails, the Swim & Racquet Club and an indoor gymnasium that’s equipped for basketball, volleyball, aerobics and a performance stage.

Cedar Creek is served by the Olathe School District, including Olathe Northwest High School, Mission Trail Junior High School, and Cedar Creek Elementary School. The community is also within close proximity to St. James Academy Catholic High School.
