There’s nothing like fall, when vibrant colors shimmer on branches before cascading to crunch underfoot. And few neighborhoods showcase this glorious season quite like Rodrock Development’s Forest View. After all, it’s not every community that sits above a gently winding boulevard and a gorgeous 50-foot waterfall, amidst natural rock bluffs and lush greenery! In fact, many a Forest View family uses this most beautiful scene as a backdrop for their family photos.

And this year’s Fall Parade of Homes, starting today and running through Oct. 9, is the perfect time to see firsthand what Forest View has to offer. An incredible six furnished homes are open to the public for free tours from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily. Comprised of The Estates of Forest View, The Hills of Forest View, and The Meadows of Forest View, this one-of-a-kind neighborhood is located just west of Kansas 7 on 119th Street, and it’s filled with award-winning homes.

In fact, the community boasts two Spring Parade of Homes Grand Award Winners – JFE Constructions’ Silverton IV and Hillman Home Buildings’ Chesapeake II.1 – along with the Runner-Up Winner, James Engle Custom Homes’ Laurel II. Needless to say, the newest model row in The Hills of Forest View offers a variety of floor plan designs and a large sampling of awe-inspiring designer trends and options.

“Featuring the area’s top award-winning builders in conjunction with the highly respected and sought out Rodrock Development philosophy, Forest View continues to welcome new homeowners at a scorching rate,” says Bruce Stout, one of the community managers. “With all that Forest View has to offer – from the area’s most respected builders to the uncompromising Rodrock Development philosophy – Darol has brought together the primary ingredients that set the foundation for an amazing community of homeowners. The response to the success we enjoyed in the Spring Parade has carried throughout the summer months, and we look forward to what awaits as we enter the Fall Parade season.”

The excitement extends to the grand reveal of part of the newest model row in The Estates of Forest View. The current model row will showcase the stunning 1.5-story Denali Chalet by Tabernacle Homes, while J.S. Robinson Fine Homes unveils its newest reverse 1.5-story plan, The Tiburon.

“The Denali Chalet showcases the artistry of Tabernacle Homes design features and thoughtful layout design,” says Bruce. “Featuring a 2-story Great Room with floor-to-ceiling windows and rustic truss beams, Tabernacle Homes brings home the elegant feel and openness sought after by the discerning buyer. And the Tiburon by J.S. Robinson seeks to answer the public’s desire for 3 bedrooms on the main level of a reverse 1.5 story. Expanding the footprint, Jeff was able to incorporate a third main level bedroom/office behind the kitchen area while not reducing the spaces afforded the remaining components of the main level.”

Forest View’s stable of award-winning builders has done a wonderful job of creating available inventory at a variety of price points and plan designs. Featuring 2-story plans from $406,950 to the expansive 1.5-story plans boasting more than 3,400 square feet, homebuilders have thoughtfully put together an array of options that embraces a variety of price points and floor plans.

“We have some of the more popular plans available for immediate occupancy, including Hilmann Home Building’s popular Fenwick IV 2 story, Prieb Homes’ dynamic Niko 2-story, and James Engle’s popular reverse 1.5-story plans: The Laurel Reverse Expanded and The Sanibel Reverse,” Bruce continues.

Forest View truly highlights the very best of Rodrock Developments. Its location is like no other, with hills and dimension to its landscape, plentiful trees, a creek, and even deer! It’s situated up and above the fray, offering a tranquil reprieve, keeping homeowners away from commotion and commerce from the time they walk out the door. And, as with all Rodrock communities, the neighborhood boasts an impressive amenity package, including a large zero-entry pool, water park, playground, volleyball, and picnic area.

“With award-winning models, the recent release of new phases in both The Estates and The Hills areas, along with the continued popularity of Forest View, we are confident that 2016 will be drawing to a close with a hugely successful campaign for everyone from our developer, Rodrock Development, through to our new homeowners,” Bruce says.
