Where to watch ‘Back to the Future’ marathons around KC
In “Back to the Future Part II,” Marty McFly time travels from 1985 to the future, arriving at 4:29 p.m. Oct. 21, 2015. Several Kansas City-area movie theaters plan to celebrate that momentous day, and the 30th anniversary of the original “Back to the Future,” with a marathon of the trilogy on Wednesday (that’s Oct. 21, 2015):
▪ Cinemark and AMC theaters start their marathons at 4:29 p.m. See cinemark.com or amctheatres.com for prices and theater locations.
▪ Regal Cinemas at Ameristar Casino and in Lawrence start their marathons at 5 p.m. regmovies.com
▪ Cinetopia, 5725 W. 135th St. in Overland Park, will start its marathon at 6 p.m. cinetopia.com
▪ B&B Theatres will show a double feature of “Part 1” and “Part 2” starting at 5:30 p.m. bbtheatres.com
▪ Alamo Drafthouse Mainstreet, 1400 Main St. in the Power & Light District, will screen “Part II” at 6:29 p.m. Tickets cost $10, or $18 with a commemorative pint glass. drafthouse.com.
