If you want to see the Eagles’ concert in Kansas City, be prepared to pay big bucks

Don Henley performed “Life in the Fast Lane” during the Eagles’ “Hotel California” tour in Charlotte, North Carolina, earlier this year. The Eagles will come to Kansas City on Nov. 23.
Don Henley performed “Life in the Fast Lane” during the Eagles’ “Hotel California” tour in Charlotte, North Carolina, earlier this year. The Eagles will come to Kansas City on Nov. 23. alslitz@charlotteobserver.com

Tickets for the Eagles’ concert Nov. 23 at the T-Mobile Center will go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday, Aug. 19, at Ticketmaster, and they won’t be cheap.

The T-Mobile Center website lists the price range as $129-$499, although Ticketmaster’s “dynamic pricing” model could increase that depending on demand — which is certain to be considerable. Prices on the secondary market are sure to be even higher.

The band added a stop here on its “Hotel California” tour. Backed by a full orchestra and a choir, it will play the 1976 album in its entirety, plus other hits.

This will be the Eagles’ first appearance in Kansas City since 2018, when they played in the then-Sprint Center. Their concert history here dates to 1972, a year after they formed, and also includes stops at Arrowhead Stadium, Municipal Auditorium and Kemper Arena.
