While the Kansas City Royals step away for the All Star break, Kauffman Stadium will have some different kind of hits taking over the ballpark.

Global music star Post Malone will headline the BIG ASS Stadium Tour Part 2 on Wednesday, July 15, at Kauffman. He’ll be joined by multi-platinum country artist Jelly Roll. This is the first headlining concert at The K since 2023, when legendary rock group Guns N’ Roses performed.

Post Malone has been one of music’s most dominant artists in the 21st century. He currently has the second most RIAA-certified diamond songs for an artist with nine, which includes hits like “Psycho,” “Sunflower,” “Congratulations” and has scored 18 Grammy nominations. Jelly Roll won three in 2026, including the award for Best Contemporary Country Album for his album “Beautifully Broken.”

The last time Post Malone performed in KC was in February 2020 for the Runaway Tour at T-Mobile Center. Jelly Roll headlined his own concert at T-Mobile Center in November 2024.

The duo is on their second leg of the BIG ASS Stadium Tour, which began in 2025. Here’s what you need to know to get ready for their Kansas City stop.

Where can I park for the concert?

There are thousands of parking spots across the Truman Sports Complex. Your parking pass must be purchased prior to the concert, according to the Royals. When you arrive, your parking pass must be shown on your phone at the tollgates for entry.

General parking will run you $35, while reserved parking will be $55, according to Ticketmaster.

If you’re being dropped off by a family member, friend, Uber or Lyft, they can enter through Toll Gate 3 and get drop you off in front of Blue KC Gate D before exiting west through Gate 7. Another option is to enter through Toll Gate 5, get dropped off in front of Price Chopper Gate B, and then exit to the west side at Gate 7.

After the show, they can enter through Gate 1 and find the designated Traffic Row in the middle of Lot A. It is unclear at this point if FIFA will move its fan activation equipment set up out of the stadium lots prior to the concert, since Kansas City’s World Cup run ended Saturday, July 11.

Can I bring a bag to Kauffman Stadium?

Each fan is allowed to carry one clear plastic, vinyl or PVC bag. The bag can’t be any larger than 12-by-12-by-6 inches. Backpacks are not allowed.

Fans can also carry a 1-gallon clear plastic freezer bag — a Ziploc bag or something similar — and a small clutch bag no larger than 9 inches by 5 inches, which is subject to search. The clutch bag doesn’t have to be clear.

Exceptions can be made for medical reasons or diaper bags for infants and toddlers.
