Cardi B is bringing the drama to KC. What to know before her concert this week

Little Miss Drama is making her way to Kansas City.

Grammy-winning rapper Cardi B is bringing the Little Miss Drama tour to the T-Mobile Center on Tuesday, March 17. It’ll be her first show in Kansas City in seven years, when she headlined Flyover, a one-day hip-hop music festival that took place at Azura Amphitheater in Bonner Springs in 2019.

The 33-year-old has been one of the most prominent female rappers in hip-hop since her debut album, “Invasion of Privacy,” in 2019. She’s the first female rapper to earn three RIAA diamond-certified songs, for “Bodak Yellow,” “I Like It,” and “WAP.”

Her tour is supporting her sophomore album, “AM I THE DRAMA?” which debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 charts when it released Sept. 19, 2025. Cardi B has already made headlines throughout her tour, including her speaking out against U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement, which ensued a beef between her and the Department of Homeland Security.

Tickets are still available for the Tuesday night show. Here’s what you should know prior:

How much are Cardi B tickets in Kansas City?

The cheapest standard admission ticket is $253.25, while the cheapest verified resell ticket is going for $193.20, according to Ticketmaster.

Who’s opening for Cardi B?

No opener is listed for Cardi B, but that doesn’t rule out the possibility of her bringing a surprise guest out. Throughout her tour, she’s brought out special guests in different cities, including Megan Thee Stallion, Kehlani, Glorilla, Tyla and others.

What are people wearing for Cardi B’s concert?

The theme for the Little Miss Drama Tour is... drama school, according to the tour’s official Instagram page. Think about the stereotypical high school outfits — varsity jackets, skirts, cardigans, vests — things of that nature.

And no, you are not required to dress according to the theme for the show. Though if you look at previous Cardi B concerts, the fans came correct with their outfits, so maybe you should do the same.

Does Cardi B have any fan challenges during the show?

Cardi B started a Beyoncé-style ‘mute challenge,’ though this one has some pettiness to it. Throughout her tour, she performs her song “Pretty & Petty,” which boasts the following line — “Name five BIA songs, gun pointin’ to your head.” Immediately after, the crowd goes silent for a few seconds.

The lyric is a diss toward fellow rapper Bia, as the two have had their own feud that turned into an exchange of diss tracks.

When will Cardi B take the stage?

Doors open for the show at 6:30 p.m., according to the T-Mobile Center, with Cardi B set to take the stage at 7:30 p.m.

What can and can’t I bring to T-Mobile Center?

T-Mobile Center does not have a clear bag policy, but the venue encourages fans to pack lightly when attending. Your bag should not be larger than 12-by-6-by-12 inches. Don’t bring backpacks or chain wallets.

These other items are not allowed inside:

  • Artificial noisemakers
  • Beach balls and balloons
  • Cameras with detachable lenses
  • Coolers and containers
  • Laptops and tablet computers
  • Outside food and beverages
  • Pocket knives
  • Selfie sticks
  • Spurs
  • Umbrellas with spike-like points
  • Any type of weapon, fake weapon or object resembling a weapon

Where can I park for the concert?

Downtown Kansas City has parking available near T-Mobile Center. The arena offers on-site parking in the magenta lot at 14th and Oak streets, the red lot at 12th and Oak streets and the yellow lot at 13th Street and Grand Boulevard, which is the KC Live! garage.

You will have to purchase passes to these lots in advance online. The red lot costs $37.74, while the yellow lot costs $58.64. Event parking opens two hours before the concert.

There are also over 40,000 parking spaces in the downtown area. Many are paid lots, but free street parking is available on a first-come, first served basis. You can also park farther away and take the free KC Streetcar to the stop at 14th and Main streets, the closest to T-Mobile Center.

You can’t park on Grand Boulevard and Oak Street in front of T-Mobile Center, since these streets will be blocked off for the concert.

If you’re being dropped off by a family member, friend, Uber or Lyft, they can take you as close to the 13th and Oak streets entrance as possible. They may also drop you off on streets that aren’t blocked off in the Power & Light District or farther away if walking isn’t an issue.

The same is true for picking up concertgoers after the show. Communicate with your driver so they can find you once the show’s over.
