Time stopped for millions of Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce fans after the superstar singer and athlete announced their engagement Tuesday.

“Your English teacher and your gym teacher are getting married,” Swift wrote in an Instagram post.

The engagement was announced 13 days after she appeared on Kelce’s “New Heights” podcast episode, which he co-hosts with his brother, Jason Kelce. Swift and the Kansas City Chiefs tight end had been dating since 2023.

“For someone who has brought so much happiness to so many people, it’s your turn, Tay Tay! Drink in all the happiness,” wrote a fan.

“I actually started crying, I don’t even care how parasocial it is. I’m so happy for her and the pictures are GORGEOUS,” a TikTok commenter wrote.
